The Seagull was my favorite enthusiast blaster release last year. It's terrific.

This was perfectly spoken , I want a seagull but don’t at the same time I don’t. I feel like my prophecy fills that spot . Yes it’s old and not new and cool but does exactly what the seagull does

I feel you, but then again it’s hard for me to buy anything while in college lol. I’m happy with my $15 Dictator for now. I wouldn’t turn down a free Seagull if they sent me one though lol.

I just pick up a second hand worker prophecy. Sold it to me becos previous owner goes for a Harrier. I feel prophecy can fits the spot by seagull. It has the honey badger build. Same length as seagull while still able to match the performance. I like prophecy more becos it can accept full length darts mag. I can used adapter and fill with many types of half length mag like angle talon, talon, katana and even nightingale mag. Something seagull cant do it.

I'm a sucker for injection molded blasters. The quality is just so much better than 3D print. I would definitely like something like that, but my kids are still a bit young for pro-level blasters. That, and I have so many I've run out of wall space to display them. 😕

Yeah man. After the unicorn and Fire Phoenix carbine, I didn’t think there could be anything better. Then came the Seagull… 😅

I think everyone bought a Harrier and this is ultimately just a smaller version. That being said, I still want one just can't justify until they're at least under $100

NNN Great video. This definitely is a sweet blaster, however we picked up the Tomcat, Dictator, Mk-3, Conquest, Aeon Pro, Nexus Pro and the Max Stryker so we passed on this one. Amazing looking but doesn't fill a need in our battles. Keep up the great work. Love your videos.

Worker put that smiley face onto the metal mag release button for the Nightingale, too.

Yah, I've felt this fatigue about flywheelers for a time now. Seagull is quite pretty, if it could get down to 100-120 fps levels I'd likely go after one. Same with the Unicorn really.

Maybe if you use the DZ M1.2 HVZ Spring I think you can get under 120FPS bro! I’m going to try it soon and let you know!

If you can manage that, I'd be curious to see if you can do similar to the presumably smaller aforementioned Unicorn as well? Could be something to try for kicks, could be me just musing aloud, but will be watching for your Seagull HvZ proofing for sure.@@notnuffnerf

This is my main blaster now, kind of in love with it.

I love the white one. It fits totally my RE style. Just slam some umbrella corps decals on it and, perfect. Cool video

Worker now needs a springer pro pistol in this line. They have a large flywheeler and smaller pistol flywheeler and sniper style and this smller carbine so next...

High fps nerf kinda feels like a hybrid between paintball and airsoft these days. And im invested lol.

For me, I had already bought the Harrier. It broke within a couple months, so I kind of took a break in buying high-priced springers altogether. At the price point the Harrier came in, I could have gotten the Diana or something similar and would have way more performance and longevity.

YES, to that color combo in the manual.

I never could keep all these high end blasters straight.

I love my Seagull. Definitely my favorite blaster so far!

For me, it was that I had already bought a Harrier, tbh I wish I had waited and bought the Seagull instead.

Agree there is a lot of "Pro" blasters, but after you shoot the Nexus Pro. You have the idea to compare the next "Pro". My 1rst Nexus Pro, it broke shooting targets. I enjoyed it to the end and even look Wmart clearance to get another. I found one camo version for $22 damage box with all the items. Even after I got a Gameface Trion. For a gift, I got the MK1.2 for $40 Amazon. I manage to do some shots, the feeling was another Dart Zone Pro blaster with niece red, black and gray skin color. Now the Trion is the Top to compare. About the Worker Seagull. I'm expecting to see a lower price to to get it. The $140+ is still high for a "shooting range" blaster.

In Sg from what i see its quite common to see at least a worker seagull at least in a game even at 130fps games(note sg is a tropical area therefore fps may differ)

I never ordered the Worker Harrier. I ordered the Seagull first. I love it so much. I'm not even going to bother with the Harrier.

I share the same sentiment . Plus the seagull comes with a longer barrel and spring if you need a little more distance. It’s a win-win!

same here. Seagull works great and I got the FPS low enough for our HVZ matches

Can you explain why you chose to keep it with the shorter barrel again?

Sure! Because of the compact nature of the frame, the shorter barrel compliments it almost perfectly, especially in a close quarters environment. Of course this is only what I did because I have other longer range blasters such as the harrier or modded Mk1.2 to fill that role. For me, the short barrel with high FPS spring was the perfect balance for the Seagull.

If they made the orange available to all retailers, I would have it already

Does OOD not ship to your area?

Without access to sales figures we'll never know, but by all accounts the Seagull was a huge success. In fact, I remember it being sold out briefly. Since then, praise has been unanimous to the point that unless you want to hit 250+ fps this is THE blaster to get.

True, I just think it could have shined so much more (As it deserves) if it wasn't surrounded by a frenzy of competitors, and market springer saturation at the time of release.

According to some information I pulled up, most Worker blasters are made of high impact ABS. Feels very good!

the seagull is the best allround springer. it is pricy, but worth every penny. I should just sell all that came before :). There are too many springers at the moment. Dart zone flooded the market with alot of experimental blasters in the same range after the nexus that have become irrelevant very quickly like the 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, the mk4, tomcat, dictator etc.. Nice if you can afford them all, but very confusing if you can't. We need less new springers but the once we get should be quality out of the box, modular and upgradable to keep them relevant for a longer period. I was sceptical about the seagull, because i allready had a high end springer: the harrier and that's it's main problem. It came out in the same year as it's big brother, way too quick.

It's not surprising that springers would be so prevalent. It's a straightforward concept that's easy to upgrade. That said, I haven't seen any evidence there's confusion. Those Dart Zone blasters didn't release all at once and the community has a good sense for which ones to get and which ones to avoid. Harrier and Seagull also fall into distinct performance segments. Sure, they overlap but they clearly occupy different spaces. And at the very top end you've got stuff like the Apex Prime and M20.

I highly disagree, the gameface trion hits 200 fps+ completely stock. It is half the price and is 100x more accurate for sniping small targets. The only downside that it isnt injection molded/high quality build quality on the outside but the performance makes up for that

The seagull is a blaster that imo is a replacement blaster. You get it when your old springer just isn’t really up to snuff anymore and you don’t want to invest in it anymore. At least that was the case for me when I purchased my seagull. It is a replacement for my nexus pro and bought an upgrade spring for it for competition nerf. And it is kind of a flex blaster its main mark is the 150 standard that we are kinda moving towards as a hobby whole (thanks to DZ and others) however it can hit the 200+ comp mark with the right springer and or barrel

I’ve got the OOD high power spring rated at around 250fps,there is stronger but 250 is where I’m happy at for the games I want to play and i love it! I have all metal Sabre parts and don’t have to worry about the spring breaking anything.im sure Itle take the strongest harrier spring but the prime is already too heavy if you don’t have strength.

Some sights have the glass towards the rear (see Eotech and similar) and some have it towards the front (like one). All depends on how the sight’s projection system is designed.

@@notnuffnerf they are talking about the front and back fiber optic. it’s backwards if you compare it to the picture of it on the box. Both of em. But I don’t think its a big deal. all personal preference. has a more aerodynamic look like you put it, looks more russian with them installed forwards.

I personally think it’s just more accessible, but not necessarily better. The Harrier has a very specific role, whereas this blaster can have a multi role. This blaster can also use the Harrier spring and becomes an absolute monster!

there are way too many pro springers, we need to innovate into the field off pro flywheels and AEBs and mabye hpa
