Thank you! Your demo was super quick and straightforward. One of the best--and most helpful--videos I've seen. (This is coming from a beginner.)

Thanks Joanna! I really appreciate the nice feedback. 🙂
Ow Golish!! How did you do THAT?? How come you have “long day” format in your drop down list? Is it because your data is recognised as date formats because of the functions? Does it show if I highlight a data set that is made of only numbers already with dots in between instead of proper date format? Ow I could do with this option in my drop down menu!
Great! Can you please tell me how to make the + button for expanding or hiding columns in Excel
great succinct video! may i ask i added the holidays in my formula shown as cells "O2:O9" and it works perfectly. however, then in the next cell when i look at the formula the holiday location moves to "O3:O10". i change that cells formula location to "O2:O9" and it reverts back to "O3:O10" and i get a little green arrow in the upper left cell corner. what is the issue please?
Thanks for your video. It confirmed I am on the righy track. I am really struggling, though. I need to calculate a date in the furture to INCLUDE weekends, exclude holidays and land on Monday - Friday. I got everything but the landing on Mondy -Friday. Help!
How to only exclude Holidays, for example, we will be working on a project for two weeks straight through weekends. No days off. Only Federal Holidays are off.
If you googled "How to Exclude Holidays only" and keep getting videos of the workday function. Then you are actually looking for a tutorial on: MATCH, ISERROR, and IF functions combined to exclude values contained in one range that are duplicates from another range.
I am assuming Saturdays and sundays are the weekends considered by default in the workday function. Can we change the weekends /workdays.
When I click and drag the workday formula to the cells below it, I get a date in the 1900.

Hi Peachmango! 😊 Check the formula to ensure that the parts of the DATE function (year, month, day) correspond to the year you are looking for. Hope that helps! 🙂
I get "#SPILL!" error

Had to convert table to range for fixing the error. But I wonder how I would be able to do it in a table

Interesting thought! One option would be to convert the range back to a table afterwards (Ctrl+T). Another option would be to perform the WORKDAY function spill outside of the table, then copy and paste as values into the table. Any dates that spill past the border of the table will create new rows with blank data except for the date, which avoids the spill error. Hope that helps!
