I'm actually watching for this for a weird different reason. I am doing research for my main character for my cozy mystery. Nothing cozier and fun than a mobile coffee truck. I loved this video and I loved watching all the love and hard work you pour into your work.
Love your videos!! Very helpful as we begin our coffee trailer journey 😊
I own a coffee truck and have been in business for just over two years so I am watching this and just feeling so much of what you're saying. I run things a little different than what it looks like you do, but I have done events that I thought would be gold and have been an absolute bust and then have also had days where I thought I might crash the truck on the way home because I was so fried. I feel like unless you are in a similar situation it is so hard for people to understand the roller coaster that owning a food truck/small business is. Good luck and keep it up!

Wishing you all the success!!! ❤
I have that same predator 9500 super quiet inverter generator for my coffee truck. At Home Depot or a similar store you can get a metal ramp kit for like $25 that screws onto large 2x8 boards that you can get about 10 feet long. You can then line them up on the back of your truck at not such a steep incline so you could do it by yourself. I’m in the process of making a long video to explain the ins and outs of the entire process of my coffee truck.

We have a vintage trailer as a coffee cart as well. We also have a brick and mortar coffeehouse but the trailer can bring in just as much (if not more) in sales than the actual coffeehouse at farmer's markets and things like that. The hardest thing for us is being able to stock enough milks, ice and beverages. We have an espresso machine but we also sell iced coffee, cold brew, iced tea and more. It is a ton of work, but once you get it set up and get used to it you can make a lot of money and it is fun! Love your setup and trailer! Great video!

Thank you! The trailer is more set-up work, but also has such low overhead that I have been super picky about brick and mortar spaces. I definitely feel your pain on having the space to keep things stocked - we found a place we can stay plugged in (no generator use) which has saved me a lot of time in the mornings not having to re-load our fridge. It's always great connecting with people in the same space. What is your business name? I would love to check it out!

I saw a small green van for sale today. I just had an idea from you. Idk if i should go thru with is
How does the tip of the latte leaf go out and in like that
Love this video, so inspiring. Alternatively, or, in addition, how would you go about finding a place to station the coffee trailer at a certain spot on a regular schedule? I’m considering doing this as well, and would be doing it by myself.

Get involved with your community and reach out to local businesses! If you can find a space that would benefit from you being there to serve coffee that is always helpful. Try to partner with another business and use their lot (maybe offer them a fee for using the space). It takes a few tries, but don't be scared to ask around!

oh wow, anfim + la marzocco + macbook + a beautiful girl in a truck. What a great combination
Where can I find tables like that ?
I think what you’re doing is amazing, it’s inspired me to buy a camper as well! I’m trying to figure out how to sell coffee from state to state and a licensee is involved in that as you’re traveling. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am picking up my camper this weekend.
@haileypolidori5824

Each state has a different licensing process and fee, so you would most likely need to get inspected/permits for each state. I know some have options for traveling vendors, but you would need to reach out to each county's health department before popping up to check their regulations/pay the fees. I know some trucks get inspected and licensed in two different states so they do summers in one place and winters in another. Hope this helps!
Hello what is the average cost for a drink like a latte ?
Hi Hailey love your set up! I'm starting a coffee truck out of my 1969 P10 Stevan. my question for you is, do you run a ac unit during the summer months? second question ive seen the predator Generator you use, will it run the Ac unit while your operating? Also for ICE, are you keeping ice in a cooler or are you running a small ice maker?
@haileypolidori5824
11 ай бұрын
We do not have an AC unit - it would push us over our power limit with the generator we use. We just use a few fans and keep the windows open. As for ice we buy it before every event and keep it in a cooler :)
hi great video, i was wondering what and how many syrups you keep on board? so i can get it out of my head that i need every flavor out there lol. thank you..

I try to keep my menu limited. It rotates based on the season! This helps with storage and wasting less. I usually have 6 flavors :)
Hello, thank you for the inside view. I have a question. Did you get any experience by working at a coffee shop or did you go straight for it.

I got experience as a barista, and a cafe manager for a few years before starting my own. It was super helpful to learn on someone else's dime, and pickup on things I would do differently/implement.

Great video. What happens when you have to go to the restroom?
@haileypolidori5824
Жыл бұрын
Every event we do we have to have access to a public restroom for our customers. We typically partner with local businesses or use public restrooms at farmers markets/festivals. When I am alone it is usually only for 4 hours at a time so it's no big deal. My fiance usually isn't too far away if I need a break though.

Hey! How does your generator run with your 220v espresso machine? Does it ever surge?
@haileypolidori5824
Жыл бұрын
We haven't run into any issues powering the espresso machine with our generator. There are limits to how much other equipment we can have running at the same time, but if you total up all of your wattage before adding additional equipment there shouldn't be an issue!
