My Ralph Lauren tote might be a good option for you. It zips, has a zip pocket inside, and 2 other side pockets inside. Also it’s huge and fits my giant laptop.

I would suggest the "Gucci Ophidia GG medium tote" . Its larger than the neverfull, also has a zipper and its $980 on Gucci website but they were available last week just currently sold out but some other online boutiques have it for around the same price.

Yes! Please do a video of you washing the interior of the Neverfull. That would be very interesting 😊😊

I think the Valentino tote bag is my favourite. The colour is so gorgeous and the studs give it some delicate edginess. What a stunner!! ❤

The Tory Burch bag is beautiful.

The Everlane style bag was quite popular in Italy last year and still going strong this year, my personal favourite is the Tory Burch for everyday and the Valentino for more elegant events or important work meetings.

I like the Valentino tote but I do have the L.V. Neverfull in brown color. It fits everything that I need with my 3 kids. It stood through the rain, snow and sunshine and still looking the best! No complaints! 😁👍🏻Love your videos! 💜

since this is a work tote comparison, i’d say the bag with any form of organization like the divider wins hands down over style.

Except the middle divider is not connected to the bottom so it’s not really a triple compartment. Anything in either “side” will end up in the other side via sliding under the center compartment. I hate that so I steer away from these bags.

Tote are so great for work, but I generally like them structure so they don't fall over and spill out my items. I like how these all fit laptop and papers in it well. I actually really like my Longchamp Penelope tote (has a cinch side and top zip) and also the ysl shopping tote (stays up despite being very soft).

The Cuyana structured tote is the one tote I own (I didn’t consider myself a tote person), but it’s that good

2nd this! I think a comparison between this and the Everlane would be good! I have a cuyana zipper tote and the leather is very very nice even if the finish isnt very high end.

I totally agree with you regarding the versatility of Nevderful. My Neverfull is the same as yours with rose ballerina lining. I do use a liner to protect it from getting dirty, but it does mark easily, Your comprehensive reviews and comparisons are super helpful for indecisive people like me. I love to have a Valentino tote as a second tote. Tory Burch has great looking bags, but I would rather spend the money on luxury bags. Thank you for the review. xoxo.

The Tory Burch tote would be a bag I would purchase for work. I like the understated look.

Anna Larson I dont recommend any liquids because it’s possible the lining may unglue from the canvas. Lint roll the interior for dust but stains, I’d just leave them alone.

omg, thank you so much for this video! I'm really sold on the valentino because of the younger minimalistic look, security & wear & tear. The only reason I'm hesitating is because i heard the neverfull is so robust that can last for decades (& i'm not sure if the valentino will do the same. plus, idk if the leather straps will break if I put heavy things in it like a 1 litre water bottle, snacks, laptop, wallet and some daily makeup essentials) but I don't like how it is not as subtly branded as the valentino. Really sold on the tory birch as well because its such great value for money but the styling does not look as modern as valentino. Its such a hard decision!

Reabini487 I have the Perry tote in red and it’s gorgeous! Sometimes I love the pocket and other times I hate it though. I wish it had a snap closure too.

I love the never full to me it feels like the type of bag that does it all, whether it be going to the gym, work, the beach or just shopping. I think LV really come up with a brilliant design it caters for all and you get a good selection of colours now. Brilliant video and very informative please show a video of how you clean the inside please x

Hey! Can u tell us what the color is of the Valentino bag?

I have the Everlane tote as well, and agree with you about the quality. The leather is not great, and it doesn’t look that good over time. I have been using mine a lot this year for work. It is not a very expensive bag compared to the rest you shared in this video. But to be honest, with all the tax and shipping fee adding on top it, it is also not a very cheap bag. It is also possible to buy a leather longchamp, Tory Burch tote on sale with similar prices. Plus, the using experience is not great for me. When it’s full, it’s super heavy, and straps are not comfortable to wear for a long time. So I would never buy the Everlane tote again. I will definitely get a Tory Burch when I see a good deal this year.

The Neverfull is my perfect bag in theory, but my biggest issue is that EVERYONE has it. I’ve been eyeing that Valentino lately though.

Great video! I have the Madewell Transport tote and it's similar to the Everlane tote that you have, but I have it in black with the tan straps. Love the bag, and I do like that Everlane tote, great for fall. Love to get that LV tote. So Pretty ❤

This video couldn’t have come at a better time!! My work bag was just stolen from a break-in. Been using my prada saffiano tote but it’s sooo heavy I can’t stand it. You have just about sold me on the Valentino tote. Doesn’t hurt I have quite a few Valentino shoes & accessories so they will all go together nicely 😍 thanks for the great review x

This was super helpful... I am on the lookout for a tote... considering the Neverfull and the Tory Birch, but I am also temped by the less expensive Longchamp Le Pliage or possibly a Madewell tote. I would also be interested to hear more about your bag liner/inserts!

I just ordered the FURLA leather tote. Zips closed and has feet but is a super soft leather. I am excited to try it out! Wanted to mention that here because I looked for days for a good looking, simple one with a zip and feet under $500!

That perry tote looks perfect for me but I was gifted a Kate Spade that is on its third year and still going strong even though my work totes truly go through the wars. I’ll change out handbags, but it’s a one and done for work totes for me. When it finally dies I’ll see if the perry tote is still being made.

The one time I purchased a kate spade full price from Nordstrom the straps broke....never again I buy at nordstrom rack for less than 80...no matter the original price I find them all the time

I have the exact neverfull. How do you clean the inside? I have black smudges from I'm assuming printer ink from paper rubbing on the inside of the bag.

I have the Everlane tote and am getting the Perry tote. I am a tote person, I have a few in my collection including the Kate Spade one. Nothing expensive though.

You used to have Saint Laurent tote as well. Did you get rid of it? I’ve been eyeing it for a while and would like to know your thoughts on it. I think it’s such a beautiful but understated bag. Was there something wrong with it?

This is so informative, my fave is probably the Neverfull because it’s lighter than the rest and the extra pouch is always an extra plus! Then the Valentino because of the design! 🥰

The Neverfull is super light! Canvas is just the best!

I have the never full in all three canvases, (the leather doesn’t have to patina quite as much if you care for it regularly. I’ve had the azur, and mono for over 5 years and I wipe them down with water wipes and the natural leather looks pristine!) and two epi leather and I also own the Louboutin cabata tote for leather totes that is my favorite!

Yesss I would love a vid of you cleaning the Neverfull or just a bag cleaning video in general!

What size of laptop did you use for the what fits inside? I'm just curious whether my 13-inch will fit the TB perry tote. 🤔

Loove the Valentino tote bag! I've been on a hunt for a new work tote bag since I don't want to wear our my Neverfull too much. I recently purchased a Cuyana tote (about $195 USD). The quality is pretty good and you should check it out! I was deciding between that or the everlane tote but I've seen others with it and I don't like how it looks like after its been worn for a while.

Aime, I have researching for a professional, sleek looking tote bag for months. i commute with my laptop daily and have to go to client meetings sometimes, and i'm in a formal corporate setting. i personally love structured bags but when it comes to totes, i find that a semi-structured may be better. i dislike the widely open tops (i live in NYC) and unfortunately, structured totes tend to have big open tops due to its structure! I finally made up my mind 2 weeks ago that I would get the Celine Cabas Phantom tote except the price tag is so high (~$2K USD) and I wanted to sleep on it. ALL OF A SUDDEN, my Chanel SA sent me a text yesterday that he received a medium/large classic flap in caviar beige clair that i've been looking for!! I was walking all over the moon and bought it without a second thought and now I am on a budget and prefer to go with a great contemporary alternative! You've been raving about the Perry tote for years so my eyes are on it (the grey version) for sure. People also seem to like Cuyana and Everlane but I feel like the Perry tote's leather quality seems better, it's more structured and the pebbles are more subtle and professional. Would you agree (I realize i'm asking for a validation LOL)? I had the Mansur Gavriel tote and absolutely hated it. Last question - do you personally find that the higher price justifies the incremental benefits for a work bag with laptop? for instance, 1 valentino (no discount) can literally buy 4 perry totes on discount. Is the durability 4x higher as well? I am personally never a fan of buying "cheaper" options that last a year or 2 and prefer to "invest" in a good one that will last much longer. but then it sounds like the perry tote here literally lasts a looong time and a better value even though it's not considered a luxury brand

I did buy a perry tote at the latest sale on the Tory Burch website. I didn’t have a tote before. It is not the kind of bag I use the most, hence why I didn’t want to spend a fortune. I am so pleased with my decision and it admit I was highly influenced by your review of the TB totes.

Chase Amie love it. Bought the reversible one in grey with the bright orange inside. It’s not for everyone, but i kinda feel like it represents me- a bit doll outside, sunshine on the inside 😂 It doesn’t have divider in the middle in the reversible version.

Always informative in your videos! Just for information, the new Everlane Day Market totes no longer have a raw lining; it's smooth on both sides (I have both an older and a newer version). I like both designs, but I dress very casual and boho even for work, most days. I will probably say the Neverfull is one of my fav totes of all time! TFS! :)

I love all of the totes for various reasons, I own a Cuyana zippered tote and the LV GM Neverfull; I've used both for work but what I carry everyday is a Target reversible tote (I have 3) it's the same size as my Neverfull but the straps are wider. I've owned them for about 3 years, they're not leather, and one came with an attached pouch. The quality has been surprising as I carry quite a bit in my totes, (laptop/accessories, LV GM planner, cosmetics bag and other essentials, lunch. The bag can get quite heavy but I don't worry about wear & tear, they wear like iron, minimal scratching, denting and they wipe off easily. I use the more expensive bags when I carry only a few items.

Hi Amie-I was wondering how your Valentino tote is holding up? I have one in poudre that looks brand new after use, but I find the gray Valentino to have small wrinkles/warps in the leather after use. Just wondering if it’s me!

My St. Laurent is still hands down my favorite. (I have the Perry & a Stella McCartney that I like, too). Haven't seen yours spoken of here since shortly after Dan gave it to you way back when.

Great comparison video as i was about to buy tory burch tote but abit pricey for a simple and plain looking tote.

I currently have and love, also use daily, a tote reversible bag from Kate Spade. It’s simple, it doesn’t have any pockets inside, nor the zipper on top, but I love it so much because you can wear it in black or poudre colour (light blush/beige kind of colour), which is perfect because it’s like you have two bags in one! :) This bag has a little pouch attached to it, it is very small, for coins maybe, or a lip balm, or AirPods. I currently have tea bags inside and a lip balm… The leather is really nice and although I carry a lot of stuff with me every day, it seems really durable and high quality. I love Kate Spade ♠💕 But this Valentino tote is another one I would love to have! It’s so expensive though!

Do you know why leather totes don’t have those metal buttons on the bottom? They probably would have prevented the torn corners on the blue bag. It seems essential for bags in this price range.

What do you think of briefcases for women? Since I started my new job a few weeks ago I've been really considering buying the LV Porte Documents. I just love the black and monogram and feel like it'll be really comfortable and practical day-to-day.

I was wondering on the tory burch cloud blue tote. Is the tory burch gold logo stamped on? Have you noticed that any of the logo rubbing off as I feel like the arm would rub that area.
