Hi Gautham, Item-1: WPD. It's just actual data and there will never be planned defects to compare the actual defects. Item-2: WPD. It's just finish dates of activities . If we compare actual finish dates with planned finish dates, we can know the project status. Item-3: WPI. It provides the project status. Item-4: WPD. It's just data. It won't provide the project status. Item-5: WPI: It derives from planned vs actual and can provide the project status Item-6 &7: WPR: They are representations of project status

Number of defects found, (This can be compared with estimated number of defects to come up with useful WPI) 2. finish dates of activities, ( This can be compared with planned finish dates of activities to come up with useful WPI) 4. Number of change requests completed ( This can be compared with number of change requests planned to complete, to come up with useful WPI) Work Performance Information: These are found after processing the data; comparing planned and actual data 3. As for answers, 1)Defects = WPD = These are defect numbers found and actuals "collected" (collect is the key word 2)Finish dates = WPD = Raw data with collection of dates . 3)Deliverable status = WPI = this is comparing the actual vs planned and according will give the deliverable status whether we are ahead or behind schedule etc. 4)# of CR's completed = WPD = these are numbers for the actuals completed and no comparison 5)Status of CR = WPI = Status means comparing current vs planned data and hence WPI 6) & 7 ) WPR = The name itself says reporting and Electornic representation so self explanatory

Finish date and deliverables status are the wpd what's to be implemented Last two are report of what is implemented so that its easier for one to understand in simple way than many words.

 Number of defects found. - WPD - Because its raw data which tell that number of defects found but doesn't tell its current status  Finish dates of activities - WPD - Its planning that has been done for each activities  Deliverable status. - WPI - It gives the information of actual deliverable status of the work  Number of change request completed. - WPI - It gives the status of no. of change requested completed  Implementation status of change request. - WPI - Prividing the information of change request, how it got implemented  Status reports representing implementation status of change request. - WPR - It is the report generated to show the status of CR, how it got implemented  Electronic dashboard representing deliverable status. - WPR - Again, its electronic dashboard which is example of WPR Please correct me if I am wrong.

WP Data 1 = No of defects found , WP data 2 = Finish Date activities, WP data 3 = No of change requests ( identified defects requested for rework) --- This is all WP data as it is giving us info about project activities , defects found tells us from list of activities few were defected and not completed or delivered successfully, No of change request tells us that identified defects are requested for rework...... this overall is collecting data and actual progress of project activities,,, NOW Work Perf Info = WP info 1 = Project is out of schedule as few activities were not successfully delviered and have defects i.e No of defects in , WP info 2 = Change request for no of defects identified. as these 2 WP info's are derived by comparing the data with actual progress, Now reports are WP report 1 = deliverable status i.e out of list of activities planned e.g 10 activities 4 were defects & WP report 2 = change request for 4 defects implementation status of rework if all 4 were reowrked successfully or not.
