That's a META you're talking about, not a regular KANSEN, all METAs in lore have been seriously enhanced well passed the KANSEN in different aspects, Helena can barely hack a toaster (exaggeration) where as Helena META is hacking Sirens. You seriously can't compare them by lore standards because most METAs if not all will just break the necks of non-METAs rather quickly in a serious 1 on 1.

@@Tankofdarkness Being honest your reply is a non-starter as there could be many explanations for why the in-universe writer of the report may not have known that, ranging from it just not having happened yet when the report was written, to not being sure if they were sick from a human flu or one unique to KANSEN, to not having interacted with any KANSEN and drawing conclusions based on data provided by non-primary sources. For all we know, that could have been the first time anyone in-universe saw a KANSEN getting sick.
