You should recommend this for students too. Did my first homework assignments in Immersed last weekend, 10/10 would recommend.

NICE! I love to hear when students find value! By the way, one of our teammates only had a 3.86 GPA when she graduated. If only she had Immersed, ah? 😉

You guys are amazing, I got convinced to buy my first VR when I discovered Inmersed, I'm from hispanic community and definitely I will make a video about this, since in spanish there aren't to many videos about It. i bought quest 2 because of this, still waiting for my quest 2 to come tho i hope it worked well, rather than buying multiple big monitor, this is cheaper and more immersed combined with anc headset, i hope i could increase my workflow

what is state of immersed in linux. i heard you don't support multiple virtual monitors in it yet ?

We will continue supporting Linux. We don't support virtual monitors natively on Linux, but users have found workarounds. Please visit our discord immersed.com/community to talk to our Devs about certain plugins you could use to enable virtual monitors.

Hi guys, I'm discovering this way of using VR and I need to be part of it ! Still i have some questions to i cant find answer yet could you help me ? 1- can i connect immersed on my laptop by remote control ? 2- if I want to use my laptop in immersed and have 3 screens do i also need 2 added screen plugged to my real laptop ? 3- If I'm connected to my real laptop by remote control can I still use the keyboard k830 to see my hands through VR ? 4- Do you have a question/answer or maybe a discord for you users to share experiences/knowledge. 1 - Connecting your headset to your laptop just requires you to download the Immersed app (on your headset) and the Immersed agent (on your computer) everything is wireless and connects with the click of a button. Remote desktop is currently not available with Immersed, so your computer must be connected to the same router (same local network) as your headset. Go to immersed.com/setup to learn more. 2 - In Immersed Elite you can generate up to 5 VIRTUAL screens, which means you don't need to have extra physical screens. Although if you have physical screens they will automatically appear in Immersed if they are connected to your laptop. The free version of Immersed allows you to have 1 extra virtual screen (in addition to your laptop screen). Everyone gets a 7 day free trial of Elite when they sign up. 3 - The Logitech K830 keyboard is currently not compatible with Immersed, but we are working on this integration. It should be available soon! As mentioned above, remote desktop is currently not available for Immersed. 4 - We do have a discord! I cannot touch type. How can i view my keyboard while woking?

You can use the keyboard overlay option. If you press SHIFT then SPACE then SHIFT again (quickly and in that order) when in Immersed and having your computer is connected, you will see a prompt to calibrate the virtual keyboard by pressing a few keys. Keep your headset about 1 foot from your actual keyboard when calibrating to get the most accurate read.

It's so laggy. I use 5GHZ with 250 mbps speed, but it lags. I find Horizon Workrooms much faster and reliable even they don't have such beatiful workspaces :)

People are probably gonna use it for working on stuff alone maybe, but seriously, no meeting ever will happen in vr. Everyone needs a headset, decently good laptop/pc and knowledge to set things up. So why this vr thing when it works just as well irl

Hahaha-- we hear ya, we hear ya. We have lots of different environments (actually THREE different space ones!), but there are some who like the comfort and normalcy of a conference room too. Thanks for the feedback!
