Hi. Charlotte. I’m so happy to hear that this in person job interview went well! As you said, if your time in Raleigh is not at this time, doesn’t mean that it won’t be your time in the future. If it’s what you truly want, you will work to make it happen, if not now, then later! Where we live in Maine we have to wait for our mail at the dock. It comes in on a plane. In the winter we might not get a delivery for weeks. They tried a snowmobile until someone got attacked by a bear.

I totally understand how you feel with the job description. I just graduated as well and I am jobhunting fun Adulting good luck.

Hi Charlotte 🙂 📋 If somebody says where they live, it's currently 700° then they must be living on Mercury 🚀 😂. It was the hottest day of the year in the UK on Saturday. Your 'big girl' bag looks really professional. I sort of understand what you mean. I grew up in London and (contrary to popular belief) it's not a great place to grow up in. I wanted to move north for quite a while, so when I got the chance, I took it. The North of England is a lovely part of our country to live.

Hi Charlotte, always nice to watch your vlogs. Even if you decide to take a job locally, doesn't mean you cant/get a job in Raleigh, possibly a transfer. Also a local job may make it easier to get the job your looking for because you'll have job experience to add to your resume. Happy to hear both interviews went well. I’m in my mid 30s and always said I’d never go back home post college and law school (went all the way to MI from the west coast-go green 😉) and sure enough, life has a funny way of working out and I love living and working in my home state! My family has always said go through the open door, so if the job in Maine sounds like it’s a good fit and is the open door, you never know, the timing might be best to start there and move to Raleigh at some point. Best of luck, you’re smart and capable and will figure it out! I’ve loved watching your journey (and loved living back in MI with you while you were in school).
