This is a great place to work and the camp might be the best one in Canada today. I worked there 2-1/2 years with the Earthworks group and the first-rate Crusher/Sand Plant team and overall my experience was excellent both on the job and in camp. Lots of good hardworking people up there performing well under challenging conditions (such as cold weather, an awesome river, difficult logistics, flooding and tough specs because MH is building it to last) This movie is pretty accurate but actually understates the camp facilities in a few ways. There's more good stuff to do in camp that wasn't shown. Hydro did an excellent job designing the place and runs it pretty well too. Those who complained about the food must not cook for themselves - a few times some choices weren't great but the professional kitchen folks prepare so much variety I always managed to select a satisfying meal. Typically the food was restaurant quality or better.

This video is not what I saw when my buddy sent me pics of this place. The second camp is a shit hole, dirty and grungy, how come it's not in this video?

Hydro will be jacking up rates every chance they can. This project is way over budget!!
