Forgot where exactly I heard that, but Stormlight is better fit for being an animation because the uniqueness of Roshar would make it very expensive for live action. On the other hand animation is still pretty niche and it will reach a much broader audience as a live action.

I think an animated series would be easier to make and would altogether be way better. Like, think about all the special effects needed to film so many of the scenes. It would not only be really hard, but it might not come out as awesome as it was written. And I'm not thinking an anime, but more like How to Train Your Dragon, or something similar

@@alfonsocarrillo4359 I'm complete opposite, personally. Mistborn is so grounded that I think it would need to be live-action, and Stormlight is so high-concept (especially with the world, it doesn't resemble Earth at all) that it would HAVE to be animated to work well.

I dread the idea of any of them being live-action. Live-action will have to sacrifice a lot more than animation would to make things work. The only way I’ll be okay with love-action is if it’s done after the animation.

I hope Brandon sees this! Just shows that the onscreen potential for his works is insane.

I already thought that anime is the best medium for a Stormlight Adaptation, but thanks for giving me more evidence to use the next time I inevitably bring it up!

I am not an anime fan, but I really can't imagine Stormlight Archives in any medium other than animation. I know Sanderson wants a live action movie, but I can't help but feel like that's a mistake. And despite my dislike of anime, I would watch a well animated show about Stormlight several hundred times over. Kinda like this clip.

I don't know that anime, but I guess this kind of zoom in are very common in anime 😂

Bro if stormlight archive gets an anime adaptation it would be lit, and I feel anime would better fit stormlight archive than a live action one. It would also be tougher to adapt it into live action.

This really captures the description from Adolin of seeing Kaladin in this fight "Like a falling star" I'm happy to see that as how a Windrunner master fights. No care for safety just getting to the fight as fast as possible and hitting your enemies with a precision strike at 156 m/s

The parshendi felt a juice rhythm everytime Dalinar walk in to the room making that stormwagoon clap. Great work! I love how syl looks!
