One learns something new everyday. I am well aware of the Buddy Holly version. His records had something of a revival in the early 80's and I wore out his greatest hits collections. I'm 70 and suppose I should have known the Beatles covered the Buddy Holly song but I did not know this.

That song is so romantic, and the way you play and sing it is just so beautiful. Wow! I guess it’s TWO guys. I’ve played it a number of times now.

Hey thanks. It's just me on the performance, multi tracked for vocals and guitar. The optical illusion of me playing guitar right handed (wearing glasses) is achieved by flipping the original image using the editing software (just to add more variation to the video). Basically I play guitar left handed 😀

I’d never expect such a really beautiful performance by an old guy, like me. That was absolutely beautiful, sir. You are awesome!

Now I’m wondering if you are really singing OR playing. But it doesn’t really matter. You are so cool just being in this video! Great song and great performance! Brings joy to my heart.

Albert, I can assure you that I’m singing all the vocal parts and playing every instrument on the track apart from using a drum patch. I recorded the whole thing on the Garageband platform. To claim otherwise and use someone else’s performance is in fact an infringement of copyright and KZread is very strict on such things. Hope that helps!
