‘Punch’ would be a good next guess, which would ensure you get it on the following guess. Rules out p n c and h, only thing it still could be is stout, but either way you would know

I went shout, spout and finally snout...this was impressive !!

I always begin with STERN ... and my 2nd guess was SNOUT. Best I've ever had; pity no one would believe me today.

Wordle allows you to share a link showing your results as colored boxed, but one idea would be; upload your results to Twitter, then link your Twitter from here. Then it won't matter if people believe you or not since they can just click the link and see the results.

I started with "about" and therefore had three greens.

Similar thinking to me with the first word. I went for FOULS, in the hope it might have been FOOLS as I didn't have the bottle to guess a double letter word to start.

I began with Crane, then Louis and guessed Snout in 3

For some reason I started with "vomit"... 3x "s_out" later, I got it. W00t!

I like the word PIOUS.

I went with xylem first because i thought it'd be something annoying for april fool's and I lost my second ever wordle falling into the S_OUT trap

Mark gives himself a hard time over this. Imagine if it was something important?!

I tried to guess April for my first word, but it didn’t work, so I ended up starting with Fools.

This is the first wordle I failed :(. I was left with S_OUT and had too many possibilities

Easy!

Today's was the worst for me, started with DREAM, no letters, went to SCOUT, SPOUT, SHOUT, STOUT and finally on my last hit SNOUT

I end up with s_out and tried shout, scout, spout instead

Gee, I wonder why I decided to start with Joker? :P But I got it on my 5th guess, not bad.

I got SNOU and was sure that snout was not spelled like that in my mind

If only I had used my usual start word SNORT I would have easily gotten a 2. As it is I got a 3, using SNORT as my second guess!

Frond was my first guess, then I got Snout as my second

This was my first 2 in 85 tries! Venus -> Snout!! I was so proud :D

Wordle uses a specifically curated list of words that it allows as guesses, and it seems April just wasn't something the creators decided to include

I needed six guesses on April 1st. My penultimate guess was 4 greens + 1 yellow. I posted on Facebook and nobody called fake #winningatlife :D
