Wen Ke Xing actually saw himself having segs with the "person" he married. In the dub he says something else (that he threw a dead rat on his mother's bed) but if you look closely at his lips thats not syncing with what he is actually saying XD if you wanna know mor ei suggest watching AvenueX's vids on this series

I have a really nice way to look these words up! Download Papago app, click Chinese to English, and click on image. Show it the image of the subtitles when he says soulmate and it'll write it and translate it for you :D then I paste it in Pleco (an amazing Chinese dictionary app) to tell me what it exactly means, its origin, etc. Papago told me it's "a confidant" and Pleco said it comes from the word intimate, like an intimate friend. I heard they use it since it's ambiguous, could mean romantic or not, but it's MUCH stronger than just a friend so it's a neat codeword between the writers and fans that they can get away with w/o government objection ;) Here's the word btw: 知己
