That's a great idea. I make my pads myself also. But I use scissors. It's a pain in the butt. Now I'm giving this a try. Thanks for sharing Kez!

: My pleasure, mate. I'm really glad it can help. I used scissors for a bit until I saw these at the club. But then I saw Glenn Lucas's punches and wished I had bought those instead. Hope your staying warm brother, Cheers, kezza

Thanks, mate! I giggle every time I make a mistake now, knowing that, haha. The funny thing is, I used to fix my mistakes like this, but now it's nice to find some humor in them. Cheers, brother!

I've made wad punches from old hole saws. I grind off the teeth and sharpen the edge at about 40 degrees. I have also threaded and welded a bolt into the hole saw where it fits the mandrel. Works a charm....saves a lot of money.

Thanks Kerry, purchased a wad punch quite a while ago now for myself. Went to purchase another for my teacher and couldn’t find one anywhere in Oz. Will look at the Glenn Lucus ones now.

No dramas, mate. I'm really glad it helped. I don't think you could go wrong with Mr. Lucas' tools. He uses them on a regular basis and punches thousands of discs with them. I'm upset I didn't see them first. Cheers, mate.

Hi KC... I caught the second video first..lol... Yes there's loads of prep work for a one man show...it can be tedious but its also essential for quality products...you always offer multiple choices in tools and techniques..and I believe that's important..otherwise we would all be right-handed..😁... Thank you for sharing your knowledge and journey...🌿🌿🌿

Plenty of prep work. It can get a bit full-on sometimes. I think it's crucial to suggest multiple ways of doing things because everyone has a different budget and access to products. My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it. Cheers, Pam. Kezza

I looked up clingspor rolls of 4.5"x10m hook and loop paper, for 2" disks you can get 4x making your own.

Hey mate, on average, I can personally save around $86.94 per order (sorry mate, that was some late-night math). The amount saved depends on factors such as product quality, supplier choices, and order quantity (that's been my experience). It takes a bit of time to find reliable suppliers, but once I find a top-notch one, I'll do my best to negotiate a discount for the team👌 Cheers, mate! Kez
