Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Ok, this was a huge project , I'm using pencils again on this to make a rather large vase. However this time I have decide to set the pencils in resin. Hope you like it. All the best

Hello all, Thank you for watching my video. I do hope you like it. Please note I am fully aware that the music in this video is not to everyone’s taste and it’s also not been edited very well and the music is very loud. I am aware of, however this video was posted over a year ago now when I first started making videos and learning the best ways to edit. I can’t remove it and re-upload it I’m sorry to say. Thanks for watching and I hope the music didn’t cause you too much pain. If you can see through this videos and look at some of my later work, maybe you can hang around and hit the subscribe button. PS I’ve sorted out my music choice now and my editing is kinda getting better!!! I Hope..

I feel bad that you have to apologize for this. The music IS loud. But we have volume buttons/control. This is the second video of yours that I've watched, and the music level does not deter me. You do great work! Keep the videos coming, always a plus that you're learning :)

I enjoyed the music, it kicked in at the right time and I didn't find it too loud - maybe I adjusted my volume, but I don't honestly remember - that says it wasn't an issue for me, either way. It set the tone well for the turning "montage" IMO

Well said TheKelly. People can be extremely rude on KZread. It's absolutely ridiculous.
It’s funny watching pre-wacky funky Nick vids-when you’re still all kinda calm and careful

He's like a totally different person. I started watching in just the past couple of months and it took me a while to get used to his zaniness. But after seeing the much older videos I really prefer the way he is now!
Nick is single handedly keeping the color pencil people in business 4 years later. The energy is so different, you've definitely found your pace these days. I've been bingeing your videos for 2 hours, keep up the brilliant work! I can't wait to get my lathe one day, so many ideas. -Anda
It’s interesting to see how a KZreadr changes the longer they do videos! This must of been a video when you were just starting out bc compared to your newer videos the energy is wwwwaaaaayyyy different!!!

@@missmoth2588 i don't think that the comment was in any way negative, just an observation of the type and level of energy in nick's videos, and a pretty accurate one at that. not a negative comment, not a positive comment, just a comment. nothing to get excited over.
I love the vase. I also love how your personality has come through in your later tutorials. You are such a talented young man Nick, keep up the great work. And please waffle in your videos.

HA! Nick, i just came upon this older video. Being accustomed to your more recent Zanny videos, this one was the "Bob Ross" version of Nick, enjoyed it just the same.
I like the fact that you are very safety conscious. You wear eye protection, gloves and a woodworking jacket in your shop. Excellent example for Charlie!!!
Watching this in 2020 amazed at how far is on camera persona/confidence has grown.
I could imagine this coming straight out of a modern art showcase. I love how the pencils can be seen beyond the surface, running through the resin.

You’re not the Nick I began watching, I guess this was your Bob Ross era. Instead of happy little trees you have happy little pencils. You are awesome! 😂🎉❤

I enjoy watching you 'create' and this is further proof you possess the warped mind of a true artist. I'm glad you decided to leave the 'foot' on the base.
Watching your old videos is a trip. So different…
Awesome build. My only complaint is the music.. let the lathe and the wood do the singing.

I don't mind the music so much, if only the speaking and music were at the same volume. Can't hear what you're saying so i turn it up... then the music starts again... and makes the windows rattle... shakes the room... wakes the baby.. etc.. so I turn it back down.

I thought it was a lamp all along. Frankly, I think he took off entirely too much wood and I liked it best several shape ago (when there was much more wood one it).
All one need to do a project like that is to have creative talent, know the tools and equipment needed, master the technique to use tools and materials and master them, have the knowledge needed to work with the materials, learn from your mistakes, have patience and vision, and an inquisitive & active mind, and solid motivation. Well done sir! Enjoyed the video very much.
That turned out amazing! You have such talent. Thank you for all the beauty you bring in your videos. You turn a bum day into a joyful one just watching you turn anything and everything into works of art.
Perfect music choice!

That IS a good idea. Being an ex Gardener, I wondered if dried dogwood which grows in bright colours, red, yellow,, etc. might also work. If I'd been Paid Out the Euromillions Lottery win I had in 2010 - I'd have set up Practical Skills/3D Printing Workshops across Scotland. We have billions of trees but virtually nowhere you can learn how to make your own table/chairs, toys, boxes etc. OR Restore things.
Wow! I thought something was wrong! Then I noticed this was an older video! So glad you added a bit of craziness to your videos! The whole reason I watch!❤️

Beautiful Vase mate!!!! I am glad you left the lip on the bottom . Congratulations!!!! Lovely job.
The thing that's really surprising to me is that the sides aren't totally smeared with the pigment from the pencil cores.

And the difference between how loud your voice is and how loud the music is, is staggering.. if you want the music loud, keep it around how loud your voice is lol but personally, I think the music should be use as a sort of background noise, super quiet, barely audible.. should hear the tools over the music lol

Hello Nick, I thought you might be feeling sick until I looked at the date published, May 6 2014 (my birthday). The video is great, I liked the music, what a long way you’ve come. I’ll never do wood turning but love seeing it done, you’re such fun and very imaginative, a joy to watch. I used to watch a guy on public television here in the US, he turned the very old way, no power, used a treadle, branch and rope! Thank you for sharing with us.

Cracking job Nick 👍 Little tip to avoid resin holes, use a sander (without paper) on your bucket or whatever vessels you use when you’ve poured the resin, it levels the resin and gets rid of air pockets 👌
Omggg i loveeeee your work!!!! And watched this after your new ones...I was thinking what's wrong, why is he so sad!!!!! I love your enthusiasm and your goofy self!!!!!
Very cool! You mentioned that there were a few "blemishes" in the project. If there were absolutely none in this type of project, I would have a difficult time believing it was not created by a computer & not real pencils. Keep on creating awesome things! You have a real talent there. :)

I thought I was keeping up with all your videos, but I just now saw this one. At the 20 minute mark I thought “what a beautiful table lamp that will make”. at the 37 minute mark I thought “what a beautiful medium size table lamp that will make”. I do hope you stopped before it became candle holder. lol. Love you, love your work.
This is just GORGEOUS!
