Wooden Tripod Build
The building of a wooden camera tripod.
WOOD:
1 - 2x4x8
10 inches of 2x6
3x8 inches of 1/4 inch thick material (luan, plywood, etc.)
12x12 inches of 3/4 inch thick material (plywood, MDF, etc.)
2 feet of 5/8 wooden dowel and 4 inches of 1/2 wooden dowel
HARDWARE:
3 2 inch strap hinges
1 1/4-20 tee nut
1 1/2 inches of 1/4-20 threaded rod (could be cut from a bolt)
App. 3 feet of light chain
2 3 inch 1/4-20 bolts
2 1/4-20 wing nuts
2 1/4 inch washers
3 1 1/2 inch wood screws

I wonder if this can carry a PNB-1 binocular. It looks really strong, i am going to add spiked pedals. Its gonna be too wobbly probably but i will try it anyways. Thanks for the video.
