At least I would make the escapement from metal. Plywood one will not work long... Woodden gears are OK, since bearings are the ball ones. Also the ratchet mechanism for rewinding should be from metal. But it is a nice project.

サルト・ル・マンド theres a link for the paper plans. And the website says the kit is on sale now! And there’s a spot that indicates the kit costs 27,000 Yen. But there’s no link to the kit to put it in the cart. Sigh.
