Thank you sir! We had fun with it!
Very cool
I keep thinking...power plane...but maybe it's too delicate for that? That's going to be so beautiful with a coat of 'glass on it. Looking forward to seeing that step.

Yeah I had that same thought too, but yes the cedar is shaving up so easy that it’s really not bad. But there are some things I’ll do differently on the next one 😅
Justin, I have just started my Jarvis build. A 10'4" San Marcos for my wife. Thanks for the content and I can't wait to see your finished board!

OMG ANDY BIRKEY WATCHED MY VIDEO🤩🤩🤩
Thanks for the videos. Way more informative than the actual jarvis videos. It looks like your frame broke in the same spot as mine near the nose. I was wondering if that would be a problem, but you seemed to be able to work around it

I feel your frustration on the videos… I had a lot of people who were messaging me during the build of this one asking if I had luck getting in contact with the company. I didn’t have much luck. But I enjoyed the build. Yes mine isn’t perfect, and when I do another one, which I plan to do, I know what I’ll do differently in areas such as what you discuss above. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this set of videos. You do a great job at explaining and showing the process. I just ordered my Jarvis frame set and plan on using the same technique that you have demonstrated here, on my own board. I do plan on getting a power plane, btw

Yeah not a bad plan. I was a little concerned that the 1/4” skin might be too thin, but it’s added a LOT of sanding and time😅 Good luck! Reach out if you have any questions. I’m on IG more if you’re on there!
It’s gunna be awesome, keep chugging.
Hey Justin, Looking good. did you end up finishing the board, and did you make any more videos? I was shooting for May completion too, but it ended up being June. Maiden voyage was father's day weekend.

Did Jarvis provide guidance on the skin options and the techniques that they recommended?

@@dietrichnsons After doing the strip method and the sheet method, which do you prefer? I think the sheet method would allow for more variation in the pattern and an easier time with glue up? Just getting around to thinking about what my build will look like.
