Thanks for your feedback !
Looks like a sieve with so many holes from insect damage. :) But thank you for sharing the way how to turn a log to a bowl using simple instruments. Nice work.
Awesome and inspiring! Love the smooth step by step process, the inner peace you radiate, the concise dedication to one single task and your appreciation for the wood (element and structure) and the nature around you and even in the wood with the caterpillar shown on video. It's like your doing "Feng Shui" with your tools and wood while going through an smooth and active meditation at the same time. Thanks for the upload. More to come?

Good working . Good arrived and very beautiful wood. Best wishes for you . Best regards from my country Lebanon .👏👏👏👏

Very interesting video with a true craftsman at work. Having the proper tools and knowing how to use them is important.

Nice work with some good looking tools.
Wonderful tools!! And great workmanship!
If your wood had any more holes you could have made a spaghetti strainer. Great work!

Magnifique travail
Exquisite work. Though I am one who believes in carving the bowl in from the bark side. It harmonizes with the growth rings for a seamless pattern.
Respect your meticulousness. What type of wood is that, please?❤
Vc conhece muito parabéns deus abençoe 🙏🙏🙏

Question : how will you collect the wood chips and shavings off the ground and what will you do with them
Beautyfull i would like a timer to see how long it takes
Huuuuyyyyyyyyyyyy huuuufffffffffffff te envidio tu. Herramientas bien forjadas y templadas
Absolutely awesome bit of work 👏. You have some super tools too, very nice and very impressive, they are all super shiny highly polished and I would guess razor sharp, how do you get them to that point ??. Also, do you oil the tools before putting the leather sheaths back on ?? I got a Beavercraft bowl adze for Christmas from the Mr's, not used it yet but, took it out to have a look and tried a little go, yes have touched the blade, having another look there was a small bit of discolouring/ rusting look ? Probably perspiration from my hands, cleaned and wiped, some 3 in one oil and put sheath back on, hopefully it will be ok, have I done the right thing ? Any advice you could give would be appreciated greatly. Cheers, Many thanks Les.

And the adze on a handle like an axe? Amazing tools.
I don't think l'd wasted my time or tools on that piece of wood. The worm and worm holes were just gross. Love your tools though!
What kind of wood are you using ?

Where did you get your tools

They make and sell tools. I bought a carving axe from them last year. Found it on Etsy. I quite like it.

If you mean where do they make them, their forge is in Kharkiv in Ukraine.
👏👏👏👏👏👏✨
For me, the choice of wood that is so badly eaten by bark beetles is disqualifying.
I counted 7,325 chops . Must drive the neighbors Crazy !! Hope Santa sends him a Belly - gouge.

Why spend all this effort on a piece of wood that is riddled with worm holes??
