Hi guys. I know that this movie is not perfect (music, quality) and the appearance of the stove (hinges, handles) may not like to everyone, but I ask you to for your understanding. I did it with the material that I had in the workshop without spending, no extra money. The most important is that it works very well. In Poland temperatures are currently close to zero degrees Celsius and the stove makes the workshop is really hot. I did not care too much on looks, but functionality and simplicity. If I did it now probably be work out better and with videos and with the construction of the stove, but the time will not go back. I greet you and wish you a lot of heat in your workshop. :)

where simplicity eventually meets art, is when you begin to make things of a better quality and with useful features. in the same way as T34 tank. ugly, brutish, industrial......it's design and shape, its form, it's construction.....it comes together

glad to see someone cutting metal without a plasma cutter, neat as they might be. it is also good to se somone :stick weld: that used to be the way we learned to weld. using a wire welder leaves out so much of what you need to know to know you are making a good weld. i have welded for nearly 40 years

very cool ,have made barrel stoves and other stoves out of scrap Iron and truck wheels and 36 inch pipe what ever you can get a hold off the only thing is to make handle that sticks out a littel with a latch you won't get burt as easy as the short one on the door ,but good job and there is nothing wrong with the top loader they did it that way in the 1800s in cooking wood stoves

Any reason why you didn't make a couple legs and make a horizontal barrel stove instead of vertical ? Much easier to add wood and with the mass of the steel would radiate a lot of heat. Small blower in back of the stove ( outside, not inside ) to drastically increase heat output..

Try using 3/32 rod (looks like you used 7018, if you go to 3/32 with the 7018 you can get away with lower amps and not worry about blowing through . . . 80-90A depending on your machine. Check out weldingtipsandtricks channel on youtube if you are interested. Some great tutorials there, and even certified welders pick up a lot from Jodys videos. If i get around to making a stove like this, i'll do it with stick and post a vid.
