definitely enjoyable. I didn't know woodturning was so much fun. I am satisfied with this machine and workmanship. I hope I can make very good designs.

What a brilliant first turning Mehmet. You look so confident as though you have been doing it for years my friend. You got such a fine finish on wide grained wood it looked very polished. Congratulations, I think you will enjoy this new equipment very much.

Hi Mehmet, That is amazing for your first piece of turning. Fantastic work my friend. So looking forward to seeing what else you make on your lathe. One point I would like to make. The tenon on the bottom needs to be bigger. The jaws on your chuck are designed to give the best grip on a piece when they are about 5 to 6, apart when the piece is in the jaws, similar to the picture you showed at the end of the video of the chuck. When you have them at that distance the jaws form a perfect circle on the inside and therefore give the best grip on a piece of wood. Well done Mehmet and enjoy using your lathe. Take care my friend. Hi Mehmet... Very well done for your 1st turning and your 1st goblet... lovely job and a great finish... I would agree with Huw with regards to the tennon needing to be a bit bigger... I would also add that the tennon was a bit too long.. the piece should rest against the shoulders of the jaws and not against the inside face of the jaws... ther should be a gap between the inside of the jaws and the piece... I hope this makes sense... it is quite important for safety... I hope that you enjoyed making this goblet... it was enjoyable to watch... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy

Well done Mehmet. I think I made a goblet for my first turning too, but it looked more like a chalice according to Eden. My father is/was a very wood turner. Two pieces of advice. Full face shield like bionic, and a respirator like 3m with P100 filters. That fine dust you see that looks like smoke is deadly on lungs.

Essa peça ficou muito bem torneada. Seu torno é muito bom e suas ferramentas para tornear madeira também são muito boas. Fiquei muito feliz assistindo meu grande amigo torneando madeira. Vídeo muito agradável de assistir. Gostei muito. Desejo muito sucesso e obrigado por nos mostrar seu trabalho. Grande abraço.

Teşekkür ederim. torna işi keyifli ve eğlenceli. yalnız bir torna makinesi almakla bitmiyor. çok fazla kullanılabilecek yan aparatlar var ki onlarda torna makinesinin fiyatında bile fazla tutuyor. maliyeti düşünmek gerek. :-)
