You guys should really have gotten some early season birds as examples and or used Hens. The teal in early season look a lot different.

Bwanar1 Not to mention the the wood ducks look way different too.. pretty poor job of showing how to identify the difference in EARLY season.

Preaching to the choir. I've seen Wardens that couldn't tell the difference between Hen Mallard, FL Mallards (either sex), and Black ducks....in hand!

The reason I don’t duck hunt is I can’t identify most of these ducks at 60 mph. That and the regulations are confusing.

If you can’t tell the difference between a blue wing teal and a wood duck you seriously need glasses
