Hello from Oklahoma! Good Video! It's been my experiance using this L7 "trigger" for fishing and stakes. Pick sticks at least the thickness of your thumb and do not make your notch past half way thru the stick. I use the saw on my multitool for the stop cut. With good knife control I've never blown the end off. Biggest fish caught with this L7 spring pole set up, 21 pound blue cat. I was using a small sunfish for bait. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!

I was on my bicycle, far from home, big rain came in, I had my magic blanket (xl) with me, toggles, lines, folding chair, coffee.. but no pegs. Just in time I managed to use two folding knives as pegs. One hour later blue sky and I'm dry! 😄 So I love your videos

I combat cutting of the top bu using a bigger stick. I only use tree trunks of a 6 invh diameter or bigger when using my victorinox keychain kinfe. Any smaller and that beast of a blade would blow through before I know what happened. 😉

Thankfully, we don't come here for the jokes 😆
