Hello, need an advice... I am starting to practice carving inspired by your videos. They are amazing! When I carve the wood is flaking a lot, parts of the wood that I don't want to cut are falling of and ''flaking'' when I cut it (If I cut against the grain of the wood). I am using construction boards for practicing and not hard wood. So what is the problem? Is it that my chisels are not sharp enough or should I use hard wood for carving? I would really appreciate the help...
