Drawing lessons? Now this is something that I've been trying to get for a long time I draw good eyes but putting the rest of the futures onto the face is where my problem lied. This could be very educational to me. Although my first thought was is thumbs down get the hell out of here, but if you don't know how to draw it how you supposed to carve it. And I don't even carve yet but I've been thinking strongly to the idea of getting me a knife and start carving

Love the finished guy! I’ll go back in your library for something with hand tools though. I’m just learning, and although I have the equipment to power carve, I would rather get good with knives and gouges first. Thanks!💕

Madrona is my choice of wood. No fuzz left behind. If ya get the younger wood it is very carvable. The limbs make awsome crooked canes.

I am a knife carver , i use my dremel to remove large areas . First i trace over all my lines with a rotory tool ,then its back to the knifes and gouges. I can never get the fine details done with power tools.
