This movie has so quickly become one of my top favourite movies of all time. I listened to the music for months non stop and am still not tired of it. You can tell they all put so much heart into it, it feels so nostalgic which just shows that they did the original justice. Great job on everyone involved, it sucks you into the world and you leave with a skip in your step and a smile on your face ❤

Seriously, this movie was probably the first movie musical i actually liked aton that i watched 5 times in theaters. The actor did an incredible portrayal of Willy Wonk, and the casting was hilarious and genius.

@ameliaingham4268 It is. If the orange-skinned, green-haired oompa-loompas and the usage of the songs 'Oompa-Loompa' and 'Pure Imagination' weren't enough to show that, 'Wonka''s director, Paul King, has confirmed it.

@@moneylover318 He didn't seriously harm those kids. In fact, he didn't do anything to them. What happened to those kids was caused by their own actions. Ultimately, none of them were seriously harmed and hopefully, as Willy said, they left the factory a little wiser for the wear. There is nothing about 'Wonka' that contradicts 'Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory'.

35:26 I Nearly Cried During The Song Pure Imagination Because Of The Tone, The Vocals, The Beautiful Moments During That Scene Like Noodle Finding Her Mother, Both Wonka And The Oompa Loompa Now Working In The Factory, It's Just Spot On Perfect And I Enjoyed The Scene When I Saw It In The Cinema.

I started crying during the scene where Willy opens mum’s chocolate bar and turns the ticket around and it said “it’s about the people you share it with” because I was watching the movie with my sister and my best friend, the two most important people in my life, and we had snuck some chocolate into the theatre to share (bc how can you watch a movie about chocolate without eating chocolate) and it was just a perfect moment ❤

This movie definitely turned out better than I thought it would, it was absolutely whimsical and heart-warming! This reaction truly had me laughing out loud. 😄 My favorite chocolate is the Milka brand hands down. It’s not as easy to find as it used to be, I tend to buy it at World Market. 😋

no it's not there is no broadway musical called wonka this is written by the director of the paddington movies it's not an already made plot. the broadway is charlie and the chocolate factory which is based on the book and the broadway version has nothing to do with this wonka film. also this wonka film doesn't need a stage adaption because not all movies get stage adaptions and this one definitely shouldn't because it is already stage musical like its self however it can get a sequel though
