Congrats WongFu 😭 as an Asian American in a predominantly white town, y’all were some of the only Asian faces I saw growing up (outside of family). Being able to watch your vids while growing up made me feel so much closer to my roots and made me feel SEEN. Asian representation in mainstream media was limited or literally close to none during my time in college. But then I came across your channel and it made all the difference. I got into Wong Fu in 2011 so even though I many not be an "OG" fan, I've been a fan long enough to see the changes in Wong Fu Productions throughout the last 12 years and it was a blast having been a part of WF since. It's so cool seeing a lot of stars of Asian descent in Hollywood who worked w/ Wong Fu before they broke and it always gives me a big smile. Keep on going WF. I can't wait to see whatever is in store for you.

WONG FU 4 LYFE!

I didn’t submit a video, but I just wanted to say thank you. Growing up as an Asian Kid in America you guys were a massive inspiration. I used to watch Wong Fu weekends when I was left home alone by my parents (as a latchkey kid). I would watch the Ramen cook off episode while I made myself instant ramen to feel a little less lonely when it was just me and we were struggling financially. I’ve been watching since I was literally only 12. I am 23 now! My friends went to film school because of your videos, and now Im an art student! I hope you know you guys have had such a huge impact on so many lives, and still do. I was followed by yesstyle on instagram in middle school because of your video with them, and to this day it’s one of my fav fun facts about myself. I was introduced to so many “Asian celebs,” way before their Hollywood appearances because of your shorts. Truly, you are truly a pioneering group, and launching point for so much of Asian American Media. I think it’s a damn shame that shorts and sketches are no longer the mainstream. I got to grow up in the glory days or Ryan Higa, KevJumba, and Wong Fu. And I’m so damn happy I did because it showed me that you could do anything with the right people around you. From the heart felt shorts I watched when going through my first break up, to the young adult videos I watch now as a working adult, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
