The Angolan central plateau pours water into Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. The Cubango river alone, known in Botswana as Okavango river, brings life to the world's only delta in the middle of a desert. The Ruacaná waterfalls are the source of Namibia's electricity.

Fresh drinking water floods away, taking precious, growing top soil with it, only to be discarded into the sea. The mind boggles at the unpreparedness by humans, of events such as this, yet again the 'ego' decides better to spend billions on space travel, than preserving life giving water right here on Earth.
