The opening cgi floating traditional houses, flying sparkling luminous jelly fish and stingray, represent the fact that Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world, literally floating thousands of islands. Bridging Asians and Melanesians. Extremely diverse from west to east. Fulfilled with hundreds of languages, culture, tradition, ethnicity, and even religion. This video music is medley, compilation several etnic/folk music packing with edm style music. I think Alffy Rev is a big fans of Alan Walker (just in my humble opinion 😂). The closing song is national anthem wich mixed with declaration of independence speech by our first president (and first vice president), Sukarno-Hatta, real voice audio from1945. Before independence declaration speech, there is a lullaby style folk song from Java where every lyrics is magical spell/words, a pray, a good hope that in the near future the baby surrounded with gift from God, a man/woman who will defend his/her land and nation all out body and soul. This magical pray repeated as underlined bold statement as national promise under the flag in the closing national anthem. Creature in the closing segment is cgi. A mythical mix of dragon-eagle adapted from a mythical creature carved since Majapahit/ancient kingdoms era, Antaboga. That will rise to protect, with endless wealth. Ancient Javanese wayang, symbolizing Antaboga is the king of snakes guarding the bowels of the earth as the "Lord of the Underworld". The figure of Antaboga (Dragon) is inherent in Javanese & Balinese culture, usually found in gamelan carvings, gates, etc as a symbol of 'Guards'. Physically, Antaboga is more like a dragon. Here is the develop, the combination of the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above & below. On his forehead there is a symbol "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga (nine guardian gods in each corner of the wind) Why not just Garuda & Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if it is fantasized anciently. Because the symbol of the state is protected by law. The shooting locations in the video are all in Bali. Most people were asking: What are those headpieces she wore? Those headpieces (crowns) she wore called Tiara for females or Mahkota for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member and normally made of gold and silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Every diamond placed in a Tiara or Mahkota can't be just a normal diamond. It has to be something with a magical power. Meanwhile, headpieces for the usual people are made of clothes. Headpiece is one the most important outfits for almost every ethnic group in Indonesia. Even more important than shirts. In my original tribe and many others, we don't wear shirt for males, We usually wear 3 pieces of sarong (a loose cloth) to cover our waist up to the knee (No shirts on) and of course a headpiece. In my own tradition (Sasak in Lombok) headpiece isn't just an accessory. It is actually more as a symbol that you appreciate your head and to prove that you are responsible to protect it even from the heat. Headpiece is the very first thing you wear when you're born. Your parent will have it made for you a month before you even born. Nowadays, everyone can wear any kind of royal headpieces during their wedding ceremony and many other special occasions. Traditional costumes worn in the video: 1. From the ethnic group (Tribe) of Dayak in Kalimantan called Ta'a (for females) Sapei Sapaq (for males). Their headpieces are made of Hornbill feathers. This is just one of the many traditional costumes belong to the Dayak tribe. 2. I think is from the Kohongian tribe in Sulawesi Utara. This us just one of the many of them in Sulawesi Utara. 3. Based on the headpiece she wore, I think it is from the Asmat tribe called Sali made of bark and decorated with cassowary and bird of paradise feathers. Again, there are so many other traditional costumes in Papua. 4. Kebaya Labuh from the province of Riau. 5. Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang from the province of West Sumatera. 6. Payas Agung, Bali. 7. Kebaya Brokat from West Java. 8. Bula Molik (Crescent) made of silver and Gold. What are they singing? (Please refer to the traditional outfits as well because the songs and outfits represent the region where they originated) This video showcases 9 traditional folk songs from 9 ethnic groups out of 879 ethnic group existed in Indonesia. The main song is Bagimu Negeri - One of our national songs. As an Indonesian, there is no way you not gonna cry when singing or listening to that song. It is our oaths to the mother land. Our promises to the nation. And as the answer to the prayers of our parent which Alffy described perfectly through that young mother singing lullaby to her newly born son. A lullaby can't only be just a nice song to bring you to sleep, it consists a prayer, wishes and hopes of our parent to see us grow as someone useful to the nation. That musical instrument is a traditional Dayak instrument called Sape. You must check out UYAU MORI playing Sape SOLO which will bring you into the world of true relaxations. Who did the speech and what is it about? It was the original proclamation speech done by our first president Soekarno. Are those places real? The buildings and nature scenery were all real but yes, CGI effects applied to make the video looks more cinematic. Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Toraja (Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Jogjakarta), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). If I'm not mistaken, the Goddess statue where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Of course they're not floating in real except Pura Ulun Danu which situated on the lake. What is the Symbol that awaken the dragon? It is called Surya Majapahit or known as Dewata Nawa Sanga - The 9 Gods that protect the universe from 9 different dimension compass wise. What are those creatures? The creatures you see at the end of the video are GARUDA and a Dragon known as ANTABOGA from the mythology of the ancient Majapahit kingdom . Antaboga is believed to be the guardian of the underearth dimension. That's why you will find it featured in many of our traditional carvings, crafts, and even in our architectural designs. Meanwhile, Garuda is the main symbol of our country (You can't really showcase it for commercial purposes because It's protected by law). Garuda itself is a huge gigantic bird that can only be found in Indonesia. And is believed by the Hindu as the main vehicle of God Vishnu. Where they shot this video? 1.
