Dancers in this video are enrolled members of Native American tribes. Many are fullblood, some have other bloods mixed into their family tree, but still can enroll into their tribe.

@@steveboy7302 Each tribal enrollment office has their requirements as to who can enroll as an official member. Federal BIA has a quideline of no less than 1/4 Indian Blood, but if the tribe has their own constitution, they set their own limits. Many blacks mixed-in with tribes along east coast, and the south, mostly east of Mississippi River. The Cherokee used to own African slaves, they all went down the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma together in 1830's. So, after Civil War, Buffalo Soldiers were created to fight Indians and guard them at Army Forts. Buffalo Soldiers took Indian wives quite often. Look at videos of Shinnecock tribes, Wampanoag, Seminole, Chickasaw, Alabama-Coushatta, etc you see many Afro features.

@@steveboy7302 Im Irish fullblood, but I have kids and grandkids with Indian, Afro, Mexican mixes, besides my Irish blood. I know several people out in California that are Afro-Native. The Buffalo Soldiers during WWII were camped at Camp Lockett near Campo, California, they dated Native American woman from the nearby Kumeyaay tribes. You see tribal members today with Afro features. The Blacks in 1920's were suffering lychings & KKK attacks. They wanted a new identity, the Moorish Scientist Movement was created to say they were Sahara Moors, or even Egyptian. This spun off other new groups such as Nation Of Islam, Washitaw Moors "tribe", Yamasee "tribe" etc. Recently the "Sovereign Citizen" movement of people descended from former slaves created some violent encounters.
