Sarah Sabatke is a videographer and journalist residing in central Maryland. She first became a licensed pilot in 2018 and worked with the Missouri School of Journalism Drone Journalism Program, where she flew commercially and taught college students how to fly. In 2021, a series featuring her drone cinematography (Radio Friends with Paul Pepper) won bronze in the 42nd Telly Awards.
Sarah is an avid fan of long road trips, small towns and visual storytelling. Her work has been featured in Huffington Post, USA Today, Alliance Magazine and Gatehouse Media, along with a number of local news outlets. Sarah's debut documentary film, "Thoughts and Prayers," was selected as a semi-finalist in the student category of the Academy Awards and was featured at the Museum of the Moving Image "First Look" Festival in NYC.
