She's damn freaking good at weightlifting. Wow. She deserves the GOLD. The second place didn't even come close to beating her.

Very valid fact. Take Naim for example, at 4'11'' he only needed to lift the bar ~2.5 feet to get under it, while bigger guys like Steiner need to lift it at least 4 feet up

Whilst pound for pound is impressive, too many people forget that the lighter people have less height and thus much better leverages and they also have less mass due to their lower height inflating (in a sense) both their lifting numbers and reducing the weight that they compete at.

Also, 236 at 105 = 2.25 bodyweight (Andrei Aramnau) Using that sounds way better than using Mattias from the SHW class who has so much extra fat due to no weight limit.

    117kg at 48kg = 2.4 bodyweight (Chen Xiexia) 258 at 146kg = 1.7 bodyweight (Mattias Steiner) simple math.

Too simple. If you are infer a relative strength, height must be factored in but the bar being the same distance off the floor for both you need to factor that in as well. Disregarding arm-length, which obviously plays into this, this will just be an attempt to factor in their relative difference without the info of the full distance of the lift: You have Steiner at 1,83m and Xiexia at 1,52m. The bar is 21 cm off the floor so subtract that. 1,62/1,31 = 1,23 and puts 1,31 at 1,00. There is in other words approximately 23 % further Mathias' bar needs to travel to complete the lift. Their weights relative to their bodyweights (She's in a weight class where she needs to weigh in under, and he does not have to think about that, which means she probably is a kilo or two higher after weigh in at least (just from water alone, but we disregard it because we can't really know): 117kg/48kg = 2,44 258kg/146kg = 1,77 So: 2,44 x 1,00 = 2,44. Xiexia. 1,77 x 1,23 = 2,18. Steiner. And still, to approximate something I would be willing to call a semi-realistic pound for pound-comparison, there's need for factoring in their lifts compared to the average of all the other lifters in their weight-class the same way. That equation looks like: 2,44/average48kgwomensweightclassperformance = Pound for pound-value for Xiexia. 2,18/average105+mensweightclassperformance = Pound for pound-value for Steiner. And whoever has the time for to do the equations for a shit-ton of other lifters: have at it!
