When Great Britain's hitter #17 sprained her ankle at 36:40 in the video, it was her teammate #12's fault. When a player hits from the back row as #17 did, they are focusing on hitting the ball. It is their front row teammates' responsibility to get out of the hitter's way or move up to the net. #12 did neither, which resulted in spraining #17's ankle. A shame. That was an amateurish mistake, and as you could see in the rest of the match, #12 did not belong playing in the Olympic games.

GB #4 Rachel Laybourne seemed lost and confused. She was never standing at the right place... either when attacking our defending. 1:18:44... The setter was already super close to her and the antenna, yet she stood sooo far behind the attack line expecting a high set for her... that ain't gonna happen girl. And at 1:19:41 and 1:19:49, when her teammate was attacking, she didn't circle around or even face the attacker to prepare for digging up a blocked-back attack, instead she wandered mindlessly towards the net preparing to block while her team was spiking the ball... So when the ball bounced back, she didn't even have the time to turn around before the ball flew passed her. Not very smart. But at least the couch was smart enough that day not to let #6 Jennifer Taylor get on the court again, because that would only let GB lose faster as this "service specialist" was only good at serving the ball into the net... Lol. If I were her teammate I'd be so mad at her after she caused the team to lose against Italy in set 1.

Height difference doesn’t necessarily mean Japan will lose all the time. Japan has better coaching, better technique, better defense, and more experience than Great Britain.
