Is it just me or do you also think the commentators should be more focused on the tricks then on the skaters? I heard comments on Leticia's spandex but I never hear any comment on the guys clothes... I hope some day we'll have women commenting on women skating...

Gary may not have commented on the guys' clothing, but he made other types of inappropriate comments about the guys that had nothing to with their skating, both this year and last. The problem is not that a guy is commentating on women's skating, the problem is that Gary is commentating on skating in general. Men are absolutely capable of commentating respectfully on women's sports. Craig McMorris' snowboarding commentary is a good example.

yeah, hey they didnt talk at all about shirt on or shirt of (wich is litteraly their clothes) during the park qualifier, and they didnt talk about Olliveiras Mustache or how Maltos hair stays on fleek when he fell. You're right boy.

Gary is annoying to me. if he would act mature, he could be one of the best. but he always is trying to be a comedian and it only hinders his job and gives headaches to the viewers.

Julia Brueckler is my favorite female skater despite the results. She´s got so many hard tricks and great style. She deserves more success in my opinion: Treflip in the pyramid, SW fifty, SW hardflip in the quarter...,

In case yall haven't figured it out yet, they brought Gary on commentary to get views. X Games ratings have been declining over the years, especially since Street League has come along. So why would they bring on this annoying guy who sometimes says controversial or inappropriate things? FOR RATINGS. It was weird to hear the commenters refer to adults competing in Pro as "girls". I'm not used to hearing the kind of people who talk like that so it was distracting every time they'd say it, it was jarring. Vanessa Torres has done some commentator work before. As a fan of women's Pro skateboarding Vanessa Torres' perspective and insight was a priceless addition to that experience. It'd be great to hear commentary from someone like Elissa Steamer, that'd be iconic.
