The Lost Wife sounds fascinating. Haven't heard of this book, so thanks for mentioning it! I loved The Vaster Wilds and will be very disappointed not to see it longlisted. This was a great list. It is definitely my favourite prize too. The past two years I've read 14/16 longlisted books. My predictions only has a one book overlap with yours 😅 But I really like the sound of the Australian book. Won't be at all mad if you turn out to be right about that one.
