Of course, for everyone should have the capabilities to defend themselves, especially females! And for the women blessed with professional training that want a true challenge and or honorable opponent rather than a bully,sex predator,or wannabe, they should be allowed to.Only suckers,the insecure type,and those with uterior motives fear mentaly and physically tough strong women!

Women, yes. Men, no. Men are heavier and stronger to begin with; MMA training only stacks the odds still further in favour of the wife-beaters and the rapists. Nearly all violent crime is committed by males; MMA training only makes them more violent and still harder to arrest. Most male MMA fighters (unlike their female counterparts) are morons, and since they hit, and get hit, a lot harder, MMA jeopardises the few brain cells they do have.
