when women say they are strong and independent, it just means they are adults and paying bills and want people to give them recognition for that

I am an adult man who pays bills and has a career to support myself financially, but I don't necessarily call myself "independent." The "virtue" of independence in our culture is extremely overrated and also very relative.
If a woman doesn't need a man to pay her bills, then she has no reason to care whether or not he could pay her bills.

The very tall blonde woman named Carmen is very insecure & destined for failure in her personal life at her current trajectory. Her mindset operates from "...fear, scarcity, and lack thereof" (Kevin Samuels). As independent as she proclaims to be, SHE'S STILL DEPENDENT on a man for longterm security, & she pretty much says it.

Omg women have ideas and don’t get them from songs. Independence is something all Americans want and women only want to be able to do what she wants, whatever that is. We love men and want to be with them more on our terms

But that "whatever she wants" bs is just delusional. Grow up. Life is not a fun candyland. We don't want a girl that's ran through we don't want that and they keep trying to change our minds no thanks.
