Oh Lord, I was hooked on Days for 30 years and recorded it every day to watch after work and if someone messed with the VCR it meant a bad day for everyone that day and more.I had stopped watching as much since my divorce but seeing these clips on KZread is pulling me back in.Im retired now and can't resist...

I grew up watching DOOL and watched it with my grandmother through my teenage years. I love that these two characters have remained on the show throughout the years...that's the only reason I still watch it.

This is phenomenal. I love the natural, honest and humble way these two actresses interact with one another. I can't wait for the next part focused on Susan Seaforth Hayes' career. Congratulations to these two exceptional actresses!.

I loved the Friendship between Maggie and Julie back in the day. Don't see enough of that now. Give them a story line together! Anyone remember the kitchen fire. Agree with Suzanne on head writer Pat Falken Smith. Her stints on Days were Incredible.

Just perfect! Two of my grandmother’s favorites! She’s long since passed, but I z still watch every day because it makes me think of her. ❤️

My 2 favorite ladies and actresses on DAYS, Susan Seaforth Hayes and Suzanne Rogers. Now, that's class! Love them both!

I love these ladies. It’s like being with your fun and crazy aunts! I love their history. Thank you Days brass for embracing your most senior actors and actresses. I may speak for many who believe that it’s like being with family when we see their faces onscreen. May there be many more Days!

Two of the finest Grand Dames of daytime television.

I adore this segment and that’s about the time I started watching it and I remember that Marty/Mickey was wearing a belt buckle with the large initials MH. I somehow almost forgot Maggie’s dancing but so thrilled to be reminded. I look forward to a segment about Julie. Thanks DOOL for this delightful tidbit.❤️

Great interview. During the 1970’s to 1981, Days was my favorite soap. Julie was my favorite character. I loved Maggie too. I just remembered the heartfelt drama on the show that made you love the characters. It was so heartfelt. But now it’s about long lost children, resurrection, fantasy/science fiction. I miss Hortons, the families.

Awww…I love this! ❤️ I remember when the character Maggie first came on and I remember the red shoes story. I must have been home from school because I was only 8 years old! Of course, my Mom and her Mom (my grandmother) watched Days daily. I remember bits and pieces up until about 1983-4 when I purposely scheduled my college classes around Days and saw it more often and thus, remember more! I really start remembering more around the beginning of Bo and Hope. Thank you Susan and Suzanne for now being the talented matriarchs of this wonderful show. I am happy to still see your beautiful faces on my screen! 💕

Remember these story lines well. Hard to believe it’s been that long! Suzanne is still gorgeous.

I've been watching the show off and on since it came on the air in 1965. Babysitting for my neighbor. I wish I had aged as well as they have. Both still dynamic, beautiful women!

This ladies are a part of my life. My Mother watched the show when I was very young and I watched with her. Now 50 years later I am still watching. Great memories.

Amazing interview

I have very limited experience with other soaps, but the "strong" female characters (both good and evil) have always attracted me to the show since I first tuned in as a teen in the sixties. Even the newer (as in "younger") female characters come off as quite formidable. (And I love that Maggie almost turned Victor human! Who else could have done that?) Thank you, lovely ladies, for this spot of joy. Can't wait for the next one.

@@obxertoo5912 agreed. I am really disappointed with the Chanel/Allie/Tripp/Johnny story line. It had a weak build up and has not engaged me. I don't like how they've brought Sarah back. Why put disruption in Tony and Anna's relationship? Everything is crazy right now. We need to see some stability in some of the power couples.

I remember this! Susan am I right about this? Mickey had found out Michael wasn't HIS son but his brother's son Dr. Bill Horton. Then he and his wife Dr. Laura Horton split up. I think that's when Mickey left Salem. Love you Suzanne!! Just as an aside, you might be interested to know that Michael Horton was played by actor Wesley Eure, who's uncle lived in Memphis, Tn. where I live!

1973! I was 2 years old no wonder I didn’t know Mickey & Maggie story. Days of Our Lives you should put the show on KZread or Peacock from the beginning I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d like to see from the beginning; not to mention seeing the episodes I’d love to see again. Also I’d love to see the episodes I missed when I had to start working. I stopped watching cause I got lost and confused. To catch up yes yes yes please!
