Felix is an all-time great. She rose to the occasion so many times during her career as a runner. Shaunae Miller was only 21 years old here. She was coming in effortlessly down the stretch for 2nd place with her long legs and long stride.

Shericka Jackson is underrated. Notice she's there in basically all these Allyson Felix races and typically she manages to come away with something. Shauna Miller-Uibo will go down history books with 2 Olympic golds now, but Allyson Felix for me is the GOAT.

@@jordanjordannis2258 you talking about Shaunae Miller-Uibo or Shericka? I think Shericka needs to do all three races and Shaunae will honestly be in trouble in the 400, but it's not a therefore. But it's not easy to train for 3 races

The commentator said "I've been waiting to see Felix run a decent 400" WHAT?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? She's been running them for YEARS

I think he means to her potential. Felix definitely had the potential to go sub 49, it’s a shame we never got to see her do it (in an open 400 at least, not a relay). I remember her relay split in this championship was 47.9 which is insane!

He was referring to her potential, having run 47.72, 48.01, 48.32 splits in the 4x400m. If you listen to his commentary on her over the years, he's always stressing that he thinks the 400m is her better event, but she just needs to put together a better race plan.

Felix is a great talented athlete. I hope to see her coming back again for 2021 season.

Allison Felix was indeed a legendary athlete .It was always a treat watching her run in a graceful style. Off the field too she was an excellent soul. A good wife and a caring mother. I wish her the very best of everything in her life.

I think 2012 was her year that she wouldve won the 400m but Im sure she had way too much on her plate that year with the 100 4x100 200 4x400 phenom. I believe 2012 she would have been sub 49 because she looked imperious at London Olympics

I think she chose to train for the 100m instead of the 400 to help with her speed for the 200. Whatever she was doing definitely made her a stronger runner that year.

Katherine Merry represented The UK and she is now a popular track and field commentator for international events.
