@@Vicksan-ud7zi one thing I can tell you, don't choose this field if you're looking for salary. Just do with passion and engage your skills in it. I don't have knowledge about salary package in India. Focus on what you need.

Issue with the company's mindset, a quality engineer will not be recruited in production, even a field service engineer will not be recruited in factory maintenance. This is not the case in civil or IT. Looks like we have more mech engrs than what is required.
