​@@Leviathan1996 I like to think Bortus never mentioned Isaac. I like to think he merely told her he was scared of a superior opponent and Isaac just assumed he was talking about him or couldn't think of an opponent stronger than himself.

I do love the way they wrote this little conflict, where she understands that it doesn’t all make sense to him and it’s new so she’s being patient, but still being firm and establishing her boundaries and what she expects out of that relationship. A lesson a lot more people need to learn, communication and patience are so so important when it comes to serious relationships.

I especially like it because she's not _perfectly_ reasonable. She's hurt, and she feels angry, and that's fair, so it comes out in her tone Isaac couldn't be expected to know better, so it's not his fault and being angry isn't fair to him, and she knows that and she acknowledges that. But it's also _not fair to her_ to expect her to be perfectly calm after something like this happens

This show is trash, what are you even talking about? The writing is complete garbage and most of it is nothing more than tired old tropes recycled and regurgitated while all playing in perfect lock step with post modern identity politics. This is an advanced scifi civilization that has conquered resource scarcity... with magical medical technology but cant cure addiction... can regenerate entire limbs in a matter of hours, cant cure withdrawal symptoms. The show is only worth watching for the few Norm Macdonald cameos, beyond that its complete garbage.
