Beautiful tribute Jordan. Just about a week ago I quickly wrote a little poem about Peg after drawing a picture of her sitting atop the "H." I'm no professional but I hope you don't mind if I share it, because it's one of the most tragic Hollywood stories and always really touched me. "Ode To Peg Entwistle" 🌹 Oh, dear sweet Peg Oh dear why did you do it? When a note just arrived You were not privy to it It said "you've got the part" A part you'd never play Tinseltown broke your heart On the Boulevard you lay Tell us what was it like On that "H" perched so high Did the lights below beckon Like jewels, from the sky? So you climbed to the top Of Mount Lee, on that night After crossing yourself You did leap and took flight And once in a while You still turn up on pages Of Hollywood lore Tomes to film and to stages And they say late at night That some people still see A beautiful girl Climbing up to Mount Lee Rest well dear sweet girl We remember you still The name and sweet face Of dear Peg Entwistle🌹

Many thanks Jordan for this dignified tribute to a lady whose name entered Hollywood lore for the saddest of reasons. Your informative narrative provided an insight into Peg's life, her despair - but, most importantly, her talent. A terrific vlog.

Beautiful woman, she deserved better. Well done, Jordan.
I have always thought this story about Peg was so tragic. I can’t even imagine how isolated and sad she must have felt to take her own life. Thank you for covering this Jordan. You always tell people’s stories with such compassion and class. Hope you, Katie and Jah are all well. ~Love&Light♥️Carli
I heard this story before and it breaks my heart 💔 and she is only famous for this! I wish I could have given her a hug 🤗 and told how talented she was! I think she was an amazing actress!

@@taytayrazors9033 me either! She died when my great aunt was born!
What a sad life she had, to want to be gone by 24 years old. Her poor Uncle that tried to help her. Thank you, Jordan, for telling her story. Next time I am out west, I will look at the Hollywood Sign and remember her.
Although her early life was spent in London, she was born here in Wales 🏴 in Port Talbot. This is where Anthony Hopkins and Michael Sheen were born too. Great video Jordan, thank you. x
Jordan, not to split hairs, but technically the siblings of Peg would have been her half siblings, not step, since they shared the same father. Wonderful video as always!😊
I want to thank you for the great job you do. You are always respectful to those that have passed away. Thank you
Thank you Jordan for sharing the peg story with us today, it's really a shame she will only be famous for jumping off the Hollywood sign.
Sad story. Thanks, Jordan, for telling her story. I hope she rests in peace. Take care Jordan.
Her story has been so intriguing for me and very few KZreadrs talk about her. Thanks, Jordan!!
I was always intrigued by her story. It has always made me sad that she died so young. Thank you for telling her story with such respect!
What a sad life she had..😢 Thank you for telling her story.
Such a sad story. Ive seen your video of the home she lived in with her Uncle. Every time I see the HOLLYWOOD sign now I think of her. 💔 As always you shared her story in a caring & dignified manner. Im sure she would appreciate that, Jordan.
So sad for such a young woman who may have had a terrific career. RIP 🪦 Peg
Such a sad ending for this beautiful lady. Interesting how she had the connection to Brian Keith.Tbank you Jordan for another great yet sad vlog
I remember part of this story some years ago. About Peg jumping from Hollywood sign. What a sad life she live. R.I.P. Peg!! Thank you, Jordan, for sharing her life.
god bless her. god bless her heart. peg entwhistle. god rest her beautiful heart and soul. she was so young. really young. may she rest in heavenly peace. rest in heaven. bless her heart. rest in paradise peg. i miss you immensely. god bless you. rip.
Peg jumped from the sign. Brian Keith shot himself. Brian Keith's daughter killed herself. Boy, what a family.

And the little girl on Family Affair also met an untimely demise- she played Brian Keith’s daughter.
I wonder why she came over with her father, usually little children stay with the mother. Right at the end, you answered my second question. Very sad, horrible, and tragic story. Lots of information Jordan, thank you. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
Wow, every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new. I didn't know that Robert Keith was Brian Keith's father. I remember Robert Keith in the Twilight zone episode about the masks.

Robert was also Richard Kimble's dad in THE FUGITIVE and also in an ep of ALFRED HITCHCOCK presents.
It’s ironic that Robert Keith’s ex-wife, Peg E., and his son Brian Keith would unalive themselves. Very sad.

interesting as always, Jordan. just a point....Peg's siblings.....they would have been her HALF sisters and brothers. step children would have been just the step mom's kids. if they were her fathers and the step mom's half siblings.
Hello Jordan, well my mind is blown. Ive heard and am familiar with all the people involved in this story but I never knew Brian Keith was the son! Holy smokes thjeres another example of " Its a small world"!

Canadian Geese. They are not nice. They will mess you up. Another informative video. Thanks Jordan
Thanks, for the backstory. I just finished bingeing Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood miniseries on Netflix from a few years back, so this made for a nice companion piece. Interesting footnote about Brian Keith, but from the photo of his dad, he appeared quite a bit older than Peg…did you mention their age difference and I missed it?
You’re such a great narrator Jordan. Thank you for keeping her legend alive. Hollywood could be a cool place; yet we are drawn to it all the more. Gone but never forgotten. 🌹🙏🌟❤
What a tragedy. This poor young Lady had so many life altering events. Very sad. I remember the Vlog you did on her a few yrs back
It's so weird I just finished watching Hollywood tv show on netflix and your video appeared 😮😮😮

I enjoy all your videos. Been watching only a few months. I find them very thorough in details. I had heard of her but brief info of her. So sad a life she had 😢. Looking forward to future videos.
What a sad story that I didn’t know anything about. I learn so much from you, thank you!
I have seen your other vlog about her & it was so well done. It was such a tragic story about someone so young. If only she had reached out to a friend that didn't work in Hollywood maybe things would of been different. You do a beautiful job & take such care when sharing these very sad stories. Thanks Jordan as always. 💙
I read the book about her. 😢🕯

Love what you brother Jordan BUT I personally love what you do regarding Hollywood like your old posts. Just so interesting especially when you do it. Better details. Better told. Especially when along with Scott Michaels 🤘
Your Americana work is the best thanks for all you do.

Thank you for doing this vlog. So sad that living near Boston, she's never been mentioned, in any of the cinema/theater classes I took in the city! So sad. Brian Keith took his own life also-her son! So deeply sad to see that such talented people ended their own lives, I can only imagine what life could of brought them if they had gotten the mental health help they both needed. Sad. May they both rest in peace. I like the other post(er) on here always thinks of her whenever I see the Hollywood sign, on any media pages.

She was gorgeous, such a shame. 💐
Hi Jordan, I new to your channel. I heard about Ms. Peg, Story of how she tooked her own life. One tragedy after another. HOLLYWOOD is a DirtyTown, That uses everyone. Her marriage to actor Robert Keith was a stormy one, I heard how abusive he was. She had the Talent, But in that business, Sometimes talent isn't always enough. Ms. Peg grew extremely tired of her career, She really didn't see any way out. What a beautiful tribute to her. It's a shame that if she had lived, Probably would have became a legend. Great Video Jordan, Rip Ms. Peg Always.
The letters on the Hollywood sign are only 45 feet tall-not 160.
Thanks Jordan....another great video.

Great story ! I follow you for a long time now and enjoy your videos. Fun fact: my family believes we are related to Peg Entwistle.
Great tribute to Peg. Very informative and respectful.great job on.the editing. Her mother probably thinking her life had more chances of a better life in USA than London in early 1900s, it was pretty bad those days. Slums since 1860s. She probably would have been put in a work house like children were Her story is so sad and very typical of Hollywood. If her father was buried with the wife, that grave may be had room for his daughter. Often you can get a couple bodies in in a grave, if you plan it. Shipping her to London would have been pretty expensive. I think jumping off the H was a statement of a broken dream. She took a risk it might have not killed her instantly being only 50 ft but a building would have. She must have admired the sign, or saw that town she loved so dearly robbed her. I think she was very beautiful. I hope she was reborn with another life in another time more peaceful without the pain than that Hollywood life.
Wow sad
The code you mentioned is the Hayes code 😊
So sad but , a good video.
In just 24 short years she seemed to have garnered enough in life to have written a book. I feel maybe that was ultimately the reasoning behind her decision.
Very sad story.
She sure lived a lot having died at only 24.
Bad choices have consequences. Amazing about Brian Keith!
Awesome! Thank you Jordan I luv reading these old Hollywood stories & if I'm following correctly congrats are in order for you & Katie, well congratulations kids!👍take care.
Thank-you Jordan, very informative. I was noticing how much Anne Heche looks similar to Peg Entwhistle. Both Hollywood tragedies and preventable, IMHO. Rest In Peace💜🙏🏼💜

I wonder if she has any relationship to John Entwhistle of the band, The Who? It doesn’t appear to be a very common name, and John was from England.
Maybe she came back as one of the geese.
peg entwhistle god bless you darling. rip.
Omg omg omg I know I’m psychic. Dearly Departed just did a video on Thelma Todd and her and Peg Entwistles stories I have been obsessed with for many years and I noticed no one is covering them much these days. 😪 So I was gonna DM some creators to see if they wanted to do this story…….and here is the legend himself Jordan doing the story!!!! Manifestation is real!!! 💞💞💞💞

Such a good reminder to never give up. Sad for those who reached their threshold & threw in the towel. Reminds me of J. Brandis.
