No it’s really not.... work is very stressful..... His future boss is going to make him do things correctly and he can’t say “I am going to go wait outside”..... “How much longer?”.... No he has to stand there like a man and get his job done... He was sent to the grocery store to HELP HER! He was sent to live in a Rehab for a reason.... His parents don’t pay for him to live there because he’s the “perfect child”.... He needs to learn to be an adult not just walk away everytime something inconveniences him..... What stressful situation will he walk away from next? A baby? EDIT: all these replies to me 😂 if you want to make excuses for him go ahead..... you’re just like my parents with my younger brother...... any of y’all want to go visit him jail???? I grew up with a little brother like this and saw exactly how he turned out...... in jail........ My parents would have been like “okay hunny go wait outside be careful” and then make excuses for the way he acted left and right. NOW HES IN A JAIL......... never had a job in his life......... so unless you have personal experience I don’t care about your uneducated opinion.......... these boy needs to be made into a man...... not allowed to go wait outside....... Everytime my family got done eating at a restaurant my brother would go wait outside because he “couldn’t handle it”............ it’s an excuse

Pickingwilddaisies because young men eventually grow up thinking it’s apparently “not okay” to walk away which studies proved men have far more difficulty dealing with emotions based off social constructs. So that edgy young teen who doesn’t want to get off his ass will turn into a serial rapist on SVU because a woman forced him into doing something he didn’t want to do. So yeah.

Shopping isn’t hard it’s just boring and tedious but someone has to do it. Plus the kids who went on the shopping trips had a say in what was bought so we could get things we liked. It was an open kitchen so you could eat whenever you want unlike some places where the cupboards and fridge is locked.

These boys are lucky to be learning all these skills. Maths, planning, organizing, reducing costs (food is expensive and the amount you need to feed hungry teenage boys organically is extremely expensive in my country anyway as we don't really get coupons), perseverance, how to plan and balance accounts etc. I'm so glad that she didn't just do the job herself she had them fully involved. When I was well I worked as a primary school teacher. I was in the position where I could relate, manage and help kids who are typically known for having extreme behaviour in class and /or at break times. I ended up teaching year ones and the difficult children were placed in my class but most weren't lashing out with their fists. I was lucky to have lunch duty where the oldest kids had break time and it really gave me the opportunity to get to know hundreds of the senior kids. I intentionally worked in schools that had many new immigrants, families who struggled financially and many of the children had really bad home lives often centering around abuse. I set up a system where any child could come talk, help around my classroom or just be somewhere they can cool off so that they can make better decisions (this was before school, at morning tea and lunch time so not to disrupt and overstep their teachers class). It never ceased to amaze me because a lot of them just wanted someone to care about them. I was devastated to have to stop working and being a foster Mum when I became too ill. Ten years ago when I was 32 I was given two years at the most to live from my specialists. I've slowly accepted and try to balance what I can and cannot do but what most people do in a day I struggle to do in a week. Anyway I've babbled on enough, I often over share because I have high functioning aspergers and I feel like I'm lying by omission if I don't tell the whole story.

But is she actually teaching them how to coupon? If she doesn't show and explain how she gets her coupons, organizes her shopping trips, etc, then they're not learning any more than people watching this video. Many couponers are tight-lipped about where and how they get their coupons. Which leads me to believe some, if not many, aren't abiding by manufacturer's terms or legally. IDK.
