When she was younger she had access to every guy. Meanwhile her male peers had the opposite. Women tend to want a guy who is 4-5 years older than her - gives him time to acquire resources - so when she was at her peak, early 20s, she barely looked the way of guys her age, unless they came from money or had status. Now that the pendulum is swinging out of her favor and in the favor of her male peers she can't stand it - even though she wasn't complaining when things were in HER favor. It kills me when guys pine after women for years and only get the light of day when her options start to dry up. You know, should one of the guys she used to get wanted to rub one out inside her she'd drop everything for it. Loyalty isn't rewarded in relationships, it's punished.

@8balln8 killingu65 understood. Good luck finding one. It seems like the older they get the more angry and bitter they are instead of becoming humble because of their past mistakes. They lack humility, and if you were to find a humble honest one you still would have to protect yourself and assets from her possible change of heart once you committed. I used to have a link to a post about structuring your assets in trusts and such before any relationship so as to protect yourself from such thievery. It certainly helped reduce theft from them.

Now it's all wine and roses going forward meanwhile the ex is old, poor and powerless because my kids happily call me whenever they want and she can't say squat about it. She was pretty crappy about visitation.

This is just what happens in hook up culture: you have 90% of women chasing 10-15% of men. Those top 15% of men have no reason to go on expensive traditional dates, date exclusively, or settle down. One of the perks of being a sales manager at most dealers is you get a demo vehicle: a vehicle in inventory that you can drive for free save for gas for around 30 days and then you trade it in for another one. No one in that situation buys a car. Men are just responding to incentives the same way. I don't think any of these behaviors are actually good for anyone, or society as whole, but it is what it is at this point.

Well, if it makes you feel any better I'm 6ft 2 and incredibly fit - way beyond the average- and even modeled professionally in my younger days and yet spent most my years being alone. My only sin was being the proverbial gentleman and treating women with respect. I was the"nice guy." So despite my alpha looks I got the beta pink slip merely for being nice. My uncle used to marvel over why I never got the girl because he, like anyone else, could see I was a physical specimen, and one day he said to me, "you're too much of a gentleman. You're probably just too nice." I've been dumped by girls for other men and before meeting the fellow I'd reason he must look like Brad Pitt only to discover he had only half my looks. But they did have one thing going for them, they exuded confidence and treated those girls like shit. So there's your formula fellas. Exude confidence and treat a woman like you've got 20 others standing in line. Maybe not like shit, but more like their opinions just don't matter. That alone will give you more value in her eyes and thus a certain magnetism.

Women say they want men who share their feelings. They say that. In reality, they have no respect for men who show feelings- exactly as you say. I explain to young men that what women say is largely worthless, more camouflage than communication. You da man, Donovan. Watch what women do. You are right on. I explain to younger men to not take anything a woman says at face value. I have googled some of the women that turned me down, in college. They are all in very bad places in life. One woman I was interested in, in high school- has face cancer, clearly, didn't do much with her life. Another, a serial bad boy addict, is still living in a subsidized apartment, in my college town.

Here's the thing. The stuff she is demanding is the stuff of youth, fairy tales, and vanity. In real life, where most men reside because they aren't coddled by the government and society, life is difficult. That means they are looking for a partner. They don't want a child either ladies and they certainly don't want a high-maintenance princess. They want someone dependable, reliable, and sexy. Newsflash, men like sex, so plan on having a lot of it (with just one man) if you want a relationship to survive. Be as interactive, proactive, and invested as he is. Plan dates yourself. Don't expect him to do all of the work. Step up ladies and show you are worth it.

She treats the men who treat her well like garbage... been there, done that, got the T-shirt, got the scars. There are few things I enjoy more than explaining to a guy in his early 20's that he has no value until he is established in his career- get the education, get established in work, master your craft. Don't even look at women, until you're 30. And then, find women in their early 20's, who were raised in a stable 2 parent traditional family, who doesn't even know what head games are, who has a partner count in the low single digits, who is semi-sane, and so on. I explain to them that sex is extremely expensive. They get it. They really get it.

It wasn't until years ago that i realized why women needed so much attention. This woman at work my job, that i didnt pay any attention to but most men did, she used to always speak and would try to joing a conversation that i would have with someone else constantly staring straight at me during the conversation, a minute or 2 later i would always leave because i had no interest in her. Months later eating in the cafetería, she comes in, sits next to me and dam, this day she looked very attractive. We began talking and joking, so i suggest that she meet at the pub after work (here's the bs), she frowns her face up and she gives me the, "NO i have a man, what made you think that i was interested in you." So for those months leading up, she was trying to figure out why she didn't interest me and when she received from me the validation that stroked her ego which reassured herself that she was desirable to many, that's when she stop speaking 🤣.
