@@9000ck As a Chinese woman scientist and author of book 'Women scientists in the Qing Dynasty' I found it so so adorable too thank you very much. I explore more in my latest book.
I know this woman's feeling. My Uncle had an incredibly spicy cat who didn't like anybody named Bramble. I would come across her in her cat bed, and talk to her, and hold my finger out to her. She would sniff it, then hiss, and I would just say, "Okay, see you later", and walk away. Each time I saw her, she would let me get closer to her, and eventually let me touch her. I'd start scratching her ear, and eventually she would hiss when she wanted me to stop, and again, I'd say "Okay, see you later", and leave her alone. But each visit, she let me scratch her longer, and eventually, she would stop hissing, and just move her head away when she wanted me to stop. It all built to one day I was sitting on my Uncle's couch, and Bramble walked up to me. I smiled, and said "Hello", and she jumped up on the couch, and walked right onto my lap, and sat down. She was even purring. It felt like such a victory after about two years of our little visits. I even called my Aunt and Uncle in to see it, and they were amazed to see her sitting on my lap and letting me pet her. Proud moment of my youth, and miss that girl.

Well he was playing with a toy and I went into the living room and laid down right in the middle just watching him and no subtle movements. He walked up booped my nose with his, stood on top of my head and then fell asleep on my back. I was the first to have any form of interaction like that with him. It was amazing.

My 14 year old kitty Bubsey girl found me when she was 2 years old living on the street. I believe she belonged to a man who abused her and didn't want her anymore and threw her out on the street. She got in with a ferrel community the day I moved into my new place she found me and ran over to me and plopped down on her back and showed me her belly. It took me approximately 9 months to make my kitty a full in door house cat. I couldn't imagine my life without her. Bubsey girl will be 15 years old in June 23. 💓
