This story reminded me of a guy I worked with decades ago who was separated from his child's mother. They had joint custody. He was dating a girl who was abusive toward his daughter. What is sad is that he stayed with the girlfriend even after she punched his daughter. I don't know how someone can stay with a person who is abusing their child... if it was me, the girlfriend would have to start running, because I would have blind rage. I would be Parent Bear times 1000. RIP to Iris.

It doesn't surprise me that the Dad stayed with the girlfriend knowing she was abusing his child. My Dad stayed with his girlfriend knowing she was mentally and emotionally abusive to me and my sister. I actually think he never cared or cared enough to put her in her place or flat out leave her cuz she was no good to kids. The pussy must have been that good in both cases. Some men don't care if their kids get the short end of the stick with these girlfriends they would rather have their meals cooked, clothes washed, and pussy on demand at the expense of their child's suffering. Its not right and I don't agree with it but some some men are just that selfish. Nothing you can do. But God has a good sense of humor so they will get their karma one day.

The mother didn’t leave it with a stranger. She left it with the baby’s father (they were separated) who had this trashy 20-yo girlfriend who murdered the baby out of jealousy or spite. Mother noticed previously that the baby was pooping out batteries, screws and water beads and filed with the court to end visitation rights for the father. But the judge denied. The mom tried to stop the father from visiting the baby unsupervised because she suspected abuse/neglect, but the court said so, so.. you know how it ended

Why didn’t the mom request supervised visitation after the first incident when the baby ingested batteries, a metal screw and water beads? That’s sufficient evidence to prove to a judge that the father might not be suitable to watch the baby without mom’s supervision.

French and other European castles had a thing called OUBLIETTES a nice type of cell very useful for these cases. They just dropped them in and forgot about them. Very cheap system too.

Another news channel interviewed the grandparents who said that they reported the incidents to CYS but the father still maintained visitation rights; so unfortunately, Iris was exposed to the girlfriend, and when the mom wasn't around. It is infuriating when you can't control who your ex-partner exposes your child to, if he is not someone that has his priorities straight. He put the girlfriend above his daughter. I hope he wakes up to his complicity in the abuse, as a result. So sad.

Nancy Grace, lawyer, reporyer covered the story and its on You Tube. Aelisia Owens, a nursing student is the murderer. The dad and her lived together. The dad had visitation of Iris, his daughter. The child was fed batteries, screws, and water balls prior from Aleisia, when the dad allowed unsupervised care of Iris with his girlfriend in their home. Each time the child was pooping out objects was after a visit with dad and Aleisia at their home. Another case where the mom warned the dad to watch Aleisia and not allow Iris around her, yet let her baby visit dad in his home anyway when he lived with the girlfriend. Everyone failed Iris, who was hospitalized prior and no search warrant for computers, cell phones, etc., before her death. Aelisia then fed Iris acetone which killed her. All warning signs ignored by everyone. Aelisia deserves the death penalty for premeditated murder. The dad belongs in jail for child endangerment garment, neglect, failure to protect. The mom deserves no sympathy, the warning signs were there. RIP, Iris, angel baby 👼. More proof God doesn't care, love, and protect anyone it created.

You mean humans.? I can’t even remember the amount of cases I’ve seen where I guy killed his kids or his girlfriends kids. Not to mention all the wars this world has seen were created and carried out by men. Not to mention the vast majority of violent criminals sitting in jail or prison, are men.

I just watched Nancy Grace and they talked about the nail polish remover going in the child and they’re perplexed because a child would spit it out. One time I use nail polish remover around my finger nails and my doorbell rang in the middle of me doing this. I answered the door want to go in the kitchen to finish what I was doing why my mind was preoccupied with the visitor and I accidentally put my finger in my mouth and was like eewwwh!! I had to use my mouth rinse and brush my teeth for an extended amount of time. It’s like the acetone went right into my tongue deep. So they’re right so the question is how did the acetone get in that baby because she would’ve spit it out. And they found that there was physical trauma on the brain and they’re saying this disgusting despicable girlfriend had beat the baby and that it was as if the child had had hit like a windshield in a car accident. Really disturbing disgusting little girl to do something like this to an 18 month old baby. All this over envy and jealousy is just incomprehensible.

I understand your reaction, but in this case the mother was not there at the house when the girlfriend was harming her child so she was not able to control what happened in the father's house with the girlfriend. Various videos on this story mention visitation rights that the mother and the grandparents couldn't control; so unfortunately, the child was exposed to the girlfriend without the mother or grandparents wanting it. And when they told their local child protective services about prior bad behavior from the girlfriend, the services department still allowed the visitations with the father (and continued exposure to the girlfriend). The details I mention are from the various videos and interviews done with the family as different sources covered this story. Such a sad, anger-inducing story.
