Meghan doesn't deserve to ever be released from prison. She sentenced Heidi to a death sentence and deprived her and her children of the life they could have had. With a friend like Meghan who needs an enemy! Shane's reaction may have been a nervous reaction based distress and may not have revealed his real emotions. I have seen someone nervously laugh when traumatized when they were actually very upset.

Please agreements typically are for the better. They prevent criminals from escaping justice on a technicality or getting a not guilty verdict. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would want a baby that is not theirs. Babies are an enormous responsibility. They put major restrictions on your life. They cost a ton of money. It involved a lot of soiled diapers too. That's just the first couple of years. The upside is that it is yours. A part of you and a kind of partial immortality. Stealing someone else' baby brings all the downsides without any of the upsides.

Those eyes. Was she able to have children? People need to stop “reading into” what people say or do when something happens. It’s never a good way to determine guilt or innocence. I hope that the baby is thriving and getting double love. It seems to feel worse when the crime is committed by someone the victim thought they could trust.
