Growing old is is a double edge sword. Yes, your looks are gone from being a youthful energetic person but at the same time you are still alive to enjoy family ,children ,and grandchildren.I hope that vanity is not the most important quality in a woman ,but it's her strength to go on despite adversity ,the love she has for her children ,the laughter when with her grandchildren and the tenacity to stay strong ,loving,kind,empathetic and compassionate toward those less fortunate

She was driving the car.... Always rumors about that, her crazy behavior for so long, never quite got to terms of being responsible for car crash ( allegedly they were arguing during car trip) The only one that knows is Stephanie. Grace and Rainier are gone.

Her obvious sadness is because she was transgendered from birth, she is a MTF tran who never had a choice in the matter. She looks like, and is build like a man in every way, when you actually look. It's evil what was done to her. She still looks striking. She would have been handsome. This is not a biological women, I can't believe people don't see that

Her eccentric, rebellious personality, combined with a lot of sun and hard living, really shows on her face. There is also a deep sadness to Stephanie. Losing her mom, all the broken relationships with men, not knowing what to do with herself -- it took a toll.

She has aged gracefully! I was just a child when her mother died! We all were shocked about the accident. When I was a teenager I became a huge fan! She was a great model, so beautiful and a fantastic singer! I loved her music, the videos, singles and had posters of her on my wall! I always found her very sympathetic and she went through very tough times! I wish her and her children all the best!

All older and grown children. It was a beautiful picture of the three of them together, their parents would be proud. I just wish people would realize everyone has their own path and we all learn some valuable lessons throughout our lives. It's what makes us human. I certainly don't smoke, I hardly ever use moisturizer (someimes I spread some Nivea across my cheeks after washing my face with shower gel) and I never use sunscreen. At 52 I still get asked why I have a 23-year-old child when I'm 28.

Tineke Williams There are scores of women in this world that have been through worse things than having to live under the scrutiny of the press but they don't look half as bad as her. Yes, intense sadness and near-constant crying will age you but, this woman really shouldn't have dealt with her pain by consulting with packs of cigarettes and bottles of booze. She's always looked athletic and is attractive because of that. She obviously has avoided any type of plastic surgery. However, she seems to have taken a lot of sun and has smoked a lot. Not to mention all the emotional stress in her life. This naturally is mirrored in her face.

I am happy that she avoided the fillers and the botox and the lifts. And I am glad that she looks her age. Thank God some woman who actually has the courage to say: look - I went through a lot, like we all have, and this is what I look now that I am getting older and just deal with it. I don't want to paralyze my face just to make myself look younger. I look the way I look because I want it to be that way and I'm proud of it. Bless her.

She was very sporty and a model for Christian Dior in the 80‘s. She was very beautiful with a perfect body. I admired and loved this princess Stephanie.

Too lazy to wash and moisturize it. Not rocket science. But also her choice at the end of the day. She is still beautiful.

@@Misslisasolutions That's sun damage, and probably smoking too. No amount of washing and moisturizing can save your face from that type of damage.

She always looked sad even as a child. I think she had a lot of trauma especially with the car accident that killed her mother.

Stephanie and I are the same age and I remember her so well from magazine's pictures, her life style was so appealing to me. I loved her clothes and jewelry, the places she went, everything so magical and full of glamour. It seems like she was very attached to her parents, always together celebrating life, even looking through pictures their mutual love is very palpable. Hope you are happy and well.

Stephanie is naturally very shy. She's very private and kind, preferring the company of ordinary people to the great and the good. She was much more seriously injured in the car accident than reported. She had a fractured skull and brain damage which affected her for a long time. She also suffers with depression. She's been a heavy smoker for many years and a drinker. She was very close to her father and felt his death very deeply. She's actually a very nice person and a lot more petite than you imagine as she's only just 5'7".
