Logan is a 2017 American superhero film starring Hugh Jackman as the titular character. It is the tenth film in the X-Men film series and the third and final installment in the Wolverine trilogy following X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). The film, which takes inspiration from "Old Man Logan" by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, based in a bleak future, follows an aged Wolverine and an extremely ill Charles Xavier who defends a young mutant named Laura from the villainous Reavers led by Donald Pierce and Zander Rice. The film is produced by 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, TSG Entertainment and The Donners'
Company, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Green and Scott Frank, from a story by Mangold. In addition to Jackman, the film also stars Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, and Dafne Keen. Principal photography began in Louisiana on May 2, 2016, and wrapped on August 13, 2016, in New Mexico. The locations used for Logan were mainly in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi.
Logan premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival on February 17, 2017, and was theatrically released in the United States on March 3, 2017, in IMAX and standard formats. The film received critical acclaim, with praise going to its screenplay, acting (particularly that of Jackman, Stewart, and Keen), direction, action sequences, emotional depth, and departure from traditional superhero films. It became the best-reviewed film in the X-Men franchise, with many critics calling it one of the greatest superhero films ever made, and it was selected by the National Board of Review as one of the top ten films of 2017. It was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 90th Academy Awards, becoming the first live-action superhero film ever to be nominated for screenwriting. It grossed over $619 million worldwide and became the third-highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

I think if Daniel Radcliffe really sunk his teeth into the role, he could absolutely nail it. He's NO longer Harry Potter and has gotten quite jacked in some of his more recent roles. He definitely has the acting range. He is also 5'5", which is close to the comic book version of Wolverine.
It’s not important how tall wolverine is. What’s important is that he can act, fight, and connect with the audience. What good is a short wolverine if he sucks?
None of those young actors this dude is suggesting fits the Wolverine character....smh....Its gonna be difficult to replace Huge Jackman.....although hes not short ,he was born to play Logan/Wolverine.

I always thought Daniel Radcliffe would make a great wolverine
Rather see X-23 over Harry Potter playing at being Wolverine! Heard Clint Eastwood's son (the one from Pacific Rim, that movie with the Kaiju), is in the running for the role as well. He looks like his Dad for the most part and Wolvie's look was based of off Clint Eastwood's face. Again he's a bit too tall but looks wise he looks like Logan.

Laura has the best chance. She was already introduced to us... And it makes sense with the timeline.
That's the main reason why I feel that the First 1 or 2 X-Men movies should be Wolverine-Free. Let them get their stand alone, Just like Spidy being Without Any other Marvel Super Hero.

They keep doing wolvie wrong he's either too tall or too much of a runt.
I don't see White as Wolverine. You're Concentrating more on his height. If we're going to be going with anyone then go with the Daniel Radcliffe. Granted he's Two Feet tall than what Logan should be, but I see him More as Wolverine than White.
I could see Keeso as Wolverine I only Say Ratcliff because he Bulked up good for the movie Gun Hands that was great. But I see Edgerton as the Most to replace Jackman. If they can't get him for Wolverince, then Edgerton would be good for the Mutant Maverick.
Hugh was & still is wonderful as Logan it would be interesting to see Daniel as Logan if he's cast for the role & if he wants to do it. He knows it'll be a huge role to fill & People should he's depiction of Logan will be different.

Please stop with the bullshit. Yes I’m talking to everyone here that obviously have a skewed view of tall ass Jackman as the quintessential Wolverine. The point of 5’3 Wolverine is just that, his stature and chip on his shoulder. A 6’3 guy with Wolverines abilities is more of a bully than a routable underdog. His first appearance in comics as a very small guy fighting the hulk. None of you shitting on the actors mentioned here would have cast Hugh Jackman as Wolverine until you saw him in the first X-Men movie. Micheal Keaton? Who here is casting him as Batman before you saw it?

His height is so completely irrelevant. Jackman proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. He played the character for 17 years, setting aside the upcoming film obviously, and in the minds of many, he IS Wolverine. The single most important aspect is that the actor be someone who can convincingly portray a badass.

@@jedirayden WRONG! Part of the internal and visual drive of Wolverine was to constantly make up for his lack of size! He had major SIZE inadequacies a dwarf RUNT! Call him little man and he makes up for it with extreme intensity! Like the saying goes "it's not the size of the dog it's the size of THE FIGHT in the dog and that's Wolverine! You've just been mentally stained is all. Marvel could've thrown anyone at you as Wolverine and you would've been fine with it! Jackman looked like Wolverine facially but that's all! Wolverine is supposed to be the smallest guy in the room not the tallest in Jackman!
