Brees Goat actually that was my same omnibus I purchase for the first time! Funny story was I was casually browsing the internet for a FF 15 printing to hang as art, then I saw a comic reprint and somewhere along it led me to find the ASM vol 1 Omni, it was out of print tho and when the reprint came out jumped on it!

By now I can already thank (blame) your videos for a lot of the books I have bought in the last few months, but for some other older books I have had to find other channels, most of which, honestly, don't even get closer to the level of quality yours have, in terms of form, production quality and most of all, your passion and knowledgeable commentary. I was on the fence about this one having long since been Wolvie'd out, but I was hooked at Barry Windsor Smith. Throw in Miller, Paul Smith, McFarlane and Buscema? HELL YES! What was I thinking? OF COURSE I'm there. Omar, please consider doing one of these for each of the upcoming reprints.😃

Day 1 for me! Wolverine has always been one of my favorite characters going way back to the early 90s. My Dad even bought Wolverine #10 for me back in the day. I still have it, I wonder how much it's worth :D

Yeah, I love these type of variants like this and Uncanny volume 2.

Don't think I'll be getting the reprint unless there is something spectacular about it as I'm quite happy having the original print in my collection and my book is in fantastic condition. Really glad that they are bringing this out though because everyone should have the chance to own such a great body of work. I'd love to see a volume 2 though😀.

Cannot wait for this one as it had already achieved WHALE status by the time I started collecting, and you can put me down for a Vol 2 as well. Omar, in regards to what you mentioned there at the end about the binding - What do you think about just making that short mention a staple feature whenever announcing reprints? I know the 1st print of this omni was April 2009, but I don't know the full extent of what was affected. I probably own some from this era, and don't even know it yet.

Near Mint Condition Me too let’s hope Volume two arrives even thou am reading it in Marvel Unlimited I would easily read this era.

I missed out on the first run, so I'm totally getting the reprint. I am really, really, really hoping that Marvel continues the entire run, all the way through Adam Kubert's run (including the AOA Weapon X issues), and beyond. If I had things my way, there would even be tip-in plates featuring the Wolverine #75 and #100 holograms in it.

Can’t wait to get this I just got into omnibus with the amazing Spider-Man vol 1 and I really want this one and now I don’t have to pay through the roof I wanna read through all of them in order but most of the vol 1s are expensive

I’ve always wanted to own this. I’ll let you know that I own zero Marvel comics. I mostly own DC omnibuses/Absolutes/OHC/Deluxe/Standard hardcover, EC Artists Library collections, & a variety of Archie comics. Just felt like letting you know 😂 But yes I will most definitely will be buying the reprint!!!

I’ll be getting this for sure. X-Men is my favorite team / franchise in comics, so I have to lol. Sadly I didn’t start collecting physical books until about a year ago, so I missed out on stuff like this the first time around. I already have all three Uncanny X-Men omnibuses (the Claremont run) but sounds like this doesn’t double dip too much with that.

It really doesn't. Just two issues of Uncanny and the four issue mini series of Wolvie.

This is great, hopefully we get a Jason Aaron Wolverine omnibus in the near future as well.

I'm definitely gonna pick it up love having the omnis of Marvel characters in chronological order so if they were to print a volume Two of wolverine the contents would pretty much be volume 1& 2 of the epics madripoor and back to basics

And a couple of more stories too, Perhaps line it up to that future (I hope) Larry Hama and Silvestri run.

Kitty Pryde and Wolverine will almost certainly be included in an Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol. 4 as it was in included in the masterworks. So for those mostly interested in Claremont the only unique material here is Marvel Presents and Wolverine ongoing issues.

Sold my old, used copy for $200 when I heard about this reprint. Will buy the reprint for $50. Sometimes things work out nicely...must have material

I have the first printing with the classic cover but I might still get the second printing. You mentioned a couple of probable differences the binding and the "fake leather" look. I am interested to hear of any other differences before I decide.

Spiderman 21 & 22 in a storage unit 🔥 🔥 ( got the insurance $$$ I can almost smile about it now 😕almost). I had all these books smh .. But yeah seeing u "retro-view" this- yeah I'm GONNA HAV 2 PIC either this up or the new Omni when its out..lol I lost alot of good stuff smh..

Brother, I had to sell my big key books when I got divorced years ago. I sold my Giant Size 1, Uncanny 94-96, Incredible Hulk 181, Amazing Spider-man 300 and X-men 1.....to pay a lawyer. Things get better. :)

Dammit! I want that varaint. Way better than the Miller original cover.

It wasn't terrible, but it was tight. Still is. I read this thing twice and it is tight for an omni over 10 years old. That is what the big issue is with the original omnis.

The original Weapon X story is legendary. I can't speak highly enough about it.

They have completely different mappings. For example this collects issues 1-10 of Wolverine ongoing whereas the Epic holds issues 1-16.

We need hickman fantastic four reprint tell them lol. I def am picking this wolverine omni though .

Based on previous years they should be releasing right about now, but they haven't even been announced yet which makes me think they won'y be doing them (I hate that, I have all the hardcovers). Here,s my humble attempt to predict a Wolverine omnibus # 2 ( assuming that there isn,t already one & I don't know) Wolverine Origin issues, of course Marvel 117 in there somewhere, uncanny X-Men #,s 205 207,the Wolverine Alone issue from the D.P. Saga and Wolverine # 17 (even if just for that wonderful cover, if not entirely ). Issues # 31 to early # 50,s Wolverine Bloodlust? Havok & Wolverine, Meltdown series? The Alpha Flight issue where Death Strike ambushes Wolverine & the redhead with glasses (Aurora Hudson, I think her name is supposed to be) before D.S. becomes bionic I think. Any other issues with Spidey or Hulk that I may be forgetting. ( I,m really bored being inside & this gives me something to occupy me, at least somewhat).Also the Marvel Comics Presents issues where Wolvie fights these black & white creature entities or whatever they,re supposed to be in Madripoor, the Rob Liefeld Wolverine issues story arc, Uncanny,s # ( the acts of vengeance issues by Jim Lee) I forget but I believe # 256 to 258? The uncanny issue #269 I think, also by Jim Lee with Wolvie, Cap, & Black Widow on the cover where it reads, together again for the first time. (Face it a lot of the best of Wolvie are in uncanny X-Men) I mean I could suggest some of the issues in the Uncanny X-Men,s John Byrne run though I guess those would be in an uncanny X-Men Omni. I think so I dunno. I realise there are tons more options but does that mean they,re the very best like Omni # 1? Who knows? Wow I really am bored, lol. I meant to include the m.c.p. Rob Liefeld Wolverine story arc, I meant to say that is. Thank You & have a nice day.
